It’s not easy to find a top rated hamam place available in Antalya with an earlier booking but thank god Demirhan Hamam came to my rescue. It was like 10 mins walking distance from old town so it’s easy to get access. The receptionist guy, Sechat, is fluent in English so don’t worry about getting confused there. Just remember that they only accept cash but ATM is also around the corner. The full package includes pre-sauna, sauna, steam, scrub, bubble bath, tea break, massage and all done by Sir Hūseyin. I really admire him for his patience and effort to make every session done perfect. He was doing every single session with full time and knew how to deal with details. He was doing a bit shoulder and back massage at bath session to relax me a bit. The massage part was a true pleasure, Hūseyin treated the same part from gentle to strong but slowly evolved with all finger techniques as you could mention in a massage. When it was all completed, I barely couldn’t open my eyes meaning I’m gonna have a really good night. I promised to them I’ll definitely go back for another round!

I can't recommend this hamam enough. Fatmah greeted me outside and treated me with the greatest courtesy and care. My belongings locked in my change room, Fatmah gave me a Turkish towel and rubber slippers. Onto the round hot slab in my pants and splashed with water. V relaxing. Then Estmah soap-sudded and massaged me. Shower and then apple tea in the rocking chair. Back to Fatmah, who massaged me all over and gave my knotty shoulders some extra special attention with Eucalyptus oil. It was a truly sensual and blissful experience. Take extra pants to change into at the end! All for 900TL, driver to and from hotel included.

The final post of our Antalya travels: The famous Turkish Hamam 🛁🧔🏻‍♀️ After seeing videos of what a Turkish Hamam experience could be like, the stereotype in my mind was a culmination of extreme heat to moisten the skin, a big hairy man slapping your body all over and scraping off all the moist dead skin cells zealously 🔥 It was exactly that - followed by a soothing soap bath and a massage. ✌🏻😊 Michelle experienced a gentler experience in the females only Turkish Bath. It was quite an experience. Our skin was like that of newborn babes. 📍Demirhan Hamam, Antalya Based on the reviews, this Hamam happens to be one of the best and the most affordable in all of Antalya. I would definitely recommend it.

The Hamam (traditional bath) has been an important feature of Turkish (as well as all Islamic Culture). Apart from rejuvenating your body and senses, it cleanses your skin, improves blood circulation, relieves you from stress, and rejuvenates you. You are picked up from your hotel and upon arrival, start out in a steam sauna. Then you are soaped and scrubbed exfoliating dead skin. Finally, you are placed on a table and given a body massage with oil. All your stress seems to disappear. This relaxing spa experience only cost $40. You must try it.

We were charged 1,200TLS per person (roughly £30) for the service. This included :- 1) Provision of a locked room where you keep your belonging and the key is attached to a wrist band that you wear at all times. 2) Towels to wear around your lower halves plus towels to dry yourself off. 3) Steam room (15 minutes slot where you lay on a marble slab) 4) Sauna (15 minutes) 5) Another visit to the steam room (15 minutes) 6) Wash and scrub ( roughly 20 minutes) 7) A free cup of Turkish Tea (note if you want water or pop you'd have to pay extra) 8) Full body massage ( roughly 20-25 Minutes) The hammam is extremely clean and their staff is courteous. However, we felt that at times they were trying to speed up things rather than allowing us to enjoy and relax. It was almost that they were working against the clock. Another 10-15 minutes in the hammam wouldn't have been great, but that wasn't the case. Also, they should consider providing a small bottle of water for free, as a part of their service. When you get out of the steam room/sauna, you are dehydrated. I think it is just good customer service to offer water to their customers. We only visited this hammam on a recommendation. And I can say that I wasn't disappointed. However, the establishment can make minor changes as suggested above to improve overall customer experience. Overall, we had an enjoyable time. So we'd like to thank the hammam and their staff!
