The restaurant food was good too so would definitely recommend people to see

We stopped again at the Melas Lara Hotel Lara Beach. Was a bit apprehensive about restrictions, but what a great job hotel staff are doing, serving food from behind perspex screens, waiting staff wearing masks at all times cleaning of hotel is wonderful, temperature taken before going into restaurants. The weather was fantastic sunshine every day. We went to Duden falls, Land of Legends on the evening saw a wonderful water display and a parade of characters floating along in boats with the most dramatic music and a tightrope walker. We then went into Belek for a meal. The Gardeners bar is owned by a lady from London good tasty food, will go there again. Lara market was a must as was a trip toAntalya. Some changes were noticed in Antalya a new tram up to the museum and a new restaurant at the turn point of the old tram. All in all we had a great time. Goes without saying we will be returning to Melas Lara again great entertainment, thanks animation team. Also a big thanks to reception staff and all waiting staff. They make us feel so welcome.

A vast, sandy beach. Admittedly we went off season, so was fairly empty. Just some locals enjoying the sunny day. I can imagine it being busy and a nice beach to come to during the summer months. If using public transport the KL08 bus will get you here from Kaleici (Old City).

This beach is one of the best beaches in Antalya. It has free side and paid side at Palm Beach. The prices are so affordable. For a sun-bed would cost 100 turkish lira, and cabin 200 turkish lira and I will upload their menu so you can check. But I really encourage you to visit this beach.

Beautiful sandy beach and nice surrounding right at Lara district in Antalya. You can choose to stay on the sand and it’s free or you can get a sun bed to enjoy yourself even better . Not too crowded in October and has lots of free parking . We enjoyed it very much . .

Turkey is my 29 country I have see and I have to say Lara beach is not on top on my list. If you like busy, crowded and noisy places then perhaps it is for you. Water is clean, but beach is with dark sand and unfortunately people leave cigarettes buts in them. There are just huge hotels on Lara beach and is so far away from the old town. We took a bus to old town and it took more then 1hr 20 min. Overall ok, but nothing special and I wouldn't come back.

Lara Beach is a very long beach starting from Antalya's eastern suburbs and stretching all the way to town of Belek.
The further parts are occupied with 5 stars hotels and you cannot access them if you're not a guest.
However, the closer part to Antalya is the local's favorite and there's free parking along it. There are free parts and also those with a club/bar/restaurant where you can rent sunbeds and umbrellas.
Sea is beautiful, so warm during the high season, often with bigger waves.

So, I've been to a fair few beaches in Turkey in my time, and though we stayed in an AI hotel away from Lara beach on one day we visited the waterfall that drops into the sea (Duden), then decided to walk/visit Lara on the way back to the hotel. The beach was a disappointment, it was a combination of sand and pebbles, though there were lots of open bins parts of the beach was dirty. I appreciate it's end of season, and even taking into consideration COVID this year therer were some seriously delapidated and abandoned parts along the way. The toilets we used were grim to say the least, and the place feels unloved. I will assume a lot has to do with falling tourist numbers over the years, but it's a shame.

In last November 2019, i visited this scenic beauty. I found this beach very beautiful, serene and calm. Because of cold weather, very few people were there, however the serenity attracted me too much and i would like to see this place again and again.

Hi. When we visited Lara beach there was dogs roaming around. They were very friendly and there was only two. They moved on when there eas nothing for them. We have dogs so we didn't mind them.

Myself , friend and family were booked at the Selectum luxury resort in Belek but have now been told Jet2 are no longer doing that hotel.
I've been given a choice between 3 hotels -
Adalya Elite Lara
Delphin Be Grand
Ali Bey - side
I cant work out which is better , there's 3 kids between 5 and 13 . They want a good waterpark .
Whats everyone's suggestions please ?
Thank you

Just a quick question - is lara beach completely private or can you just turn up and find somewhere to relax?

You can just turn up and find a place to relax. The beach clubs are easily identifiable although they are probably closed right now due to cooler weather.

Looking to book an ALL INCLUSIVE hotel at Lara beach
Please explain ALL INCLUSIVE ? Does it include all meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner) ?
Or All inclusive only means all facilities are included like swimming pool, private beach access
Thanks

All inclusive includes everything - meals, drinks, snacks, entertainment, minibar in room, beach, pools, use of towels, al la carte restaurant normally come at a small charge but you don’t need to eat in those... room service food and drink normally come at a charge, spa and beauty treatments are not included and things like water sports - parasailing, jet skies and so on.

There are some shopping malls about 10 minutes walk away and loads of other little shops. But everything is priced in Euros not Lira so a bit more expensive.
But you can get the bus right outside the hotel and go into Antalia for a few hours very nice plenty to see and do.
