About
Located east of Antalya, Lara Beach is one of Turkey’s most expansive beaches, home to waterfront hotels, restaurants, bars, and entertainment options. Although some sections belong to the hotels, the western end of the beach is free to enter. Families love the shallow, crystalline waters and clean shores that are great for swimming. You can enjoy water activities like jet skiing, paragliding, snorkeling, and banana boat rides too. There are also public barbecue areas and sunbeds available to rent for a small fee. Lara Beach is great for a sun-kissed getaway, but be mindful of summer crowds. – Tripadvisor

- Conor B1 contributionWe stayed in the Ramada Lara. Very enjoyable. Room was lovely. Clean and comfortable. Food was all inclusive and very enjoyable. Staff were great and always made an effort. Pools were very clean. Although the kids pool was closed but you could forgive this for February. However. Outside of the hotel. The Turkish markets are full of hustlers. The place is full of poor quality knockoff brands which they will try and sell you for an extortionate price. No prices in most of the shops and if you ask how much, be prepared to be shocked, they pull figures out of their backsides. Barbours also are the same, stay away, once they get you on the chair, they will wash your face, wax your ears and look for ,€60 Some of the areas. Especially close to the beach is filthy with rubbish. Public toilets, 3rd world style. Restaurants again think because you are European that you are a millionaire and will charge you like such. Other parts of Turkey much more scenic and much more reasonable to eat and shop.Visited February 2025Traveled with familyWritten February 18, 2025

WC, showers and changing room available at the beach. The stones are painful to step on so bring your swimming shoes 🙈 you've been warnedVisited August 2024Traveled with familyWritten August 13, 2024

But of course, when there is no Poster Award, do not hesitate to negotiate. Cheap Deals at Reasonable Award and Display!Visited July 2024Traveled with familyWritten July 24, 2024

The food us good, entertainment great, and kids club was wonderful for the children. Would definately recommend this area of antalya as value for money.Visited April 2024Traveled with familyWritten April 13, 2024
- Bart B5 contributionsFine beach but nothing special. The resorts are all equally beautiful. For families with small children, the pools are a better option. It gets deep quite quickly in the sea making it less suitable for children. Sea is pure and nice and quiet.Visited October 2024Traveled with familyWritten October 30, 2024
- EssenziallElzach, Germany816 contributionsThe Lara beach is beautiful and clean with fine sand. The view of the Taurus Mountains was of course also great. We were there in January - accordingly, of course, there was little going on. Nevertheless, it was fun to walk along the beach.Visited January 2025Traveled as a coupleWritten January 19, 2025
- Lily lBirmingham, United Kingdom150 contributionsLara Beach in Antalya is a top-tier destination for those looking for a pristine, well-maintained beach experience. The beach stretches for several kilometers, offering soft, golden sands and clear, turquoise waters that are perfect for swimming and sunbathing. It is kept remarkably clean, and the facilities are well-managed, with sunbeds, umbrellas, and changing rooms available.Visited September 2024Traveled with familyWritten September 22, 2024

We were really confused by the discrepancy between google reviews and trio advisor reviews. It did make us worry a bit as only saw the bad google reviews after. Towards the end of our stay I was asked to do a trip advisor review and she sat and watched me type (actuslly took my phone off me and set up it up and told me what to write)
The hotel was good and there were many good parts. Travelling with kids and baby . My husband says he would go back but personally I think after spending £5000 on a family holiday I would expect a bit better. The noise was so loud in our room and this went on til 12am some nights. Given that my main reason to go away was to catch up on sleep with our baby it didn’t happen as it made it hard to put her to sleep. Sound proof glass would have been better.
The buffet was very repetitive food very oily and salty
One night it was so salty we couldn’t give it to our kids so ended up just letting them have chocolate ice cream for dinner
Like another review has said if there was one or two nights a la carte included like other all inclusive hotels do this would have been appreciated as we didn’t really get to all sit together.
One waiter kept asking for tips , which we did want to give but didn’t always carry change on us as staying all inclusive it took the stress off having to carry around. When we had tipped the waiter he did make special effort the next day to set our table with flowers and have a bottle of wine on the table ( red wine was not nice )
The drinks over all - good brands used but the cocktails weren’t that nice apart from the pina colada. But understandably they have to make them cost effective so isn’t goign to be the same as a drink yoj would pay £10 for in a nice pub / bar.
Good things:
Hotel was kept clean
Nice pools
Good weather
Nice beach
Lovely deck over the sea
Convineant having water available at the beach, gym and everywhere
Spa :
Hammam was nice with a scrub and foam massage
Easy to book in
Good gym but could do with AC
The rooms could also do with Better AC. We went oct nov and was too hot so don’t know how people managed in hotter months
Staff were nice and friendly
Easy check in and check out process
Lobby bar and patisserie were nice to sit during the day when not at the pool or beach

So disappointed. Stayed in Ramada Lara Beach. Hotel was beautiful, clean, friendly staff and good food. If you just want to stay in the hotel and enjoy all inclusive this is perfect as long as you are okay with cats. They wander about but don’t actually bother anyone. The problem is when you leave the hotel. We like to walk around when we are on holiday. There were only a few bars and prices are not good. Staff are depressing and like to play depressing music rather than cater for tourists. Charged 8 euros for bottle of Bud and 5 euros for local beer. If we hadn’t been all inclusive we would have struggled to find anything to eat. Again, only a few steakhouses which open later in the day. Main strip looks clean and tidy. A few stray dogs and women with kids begging for money. However once you walk down side street the place is like a rubbish dump with dogs going through the rubbish too. Tried to find the beach twice and not the easiest task. Parts look like construction sites. Also told that the stray dogs are friendly, but got followed by one near beach which was really bitey. Was biting my clothes and my husbands clothes even though we were being friendly to it. When I tried to pull clothes away it was trying to bite me and and my husband had to step in. Very scary and would hate to see what it would be like with kids. Shopping was just a chore. No prices and if you went to look at anything you were harassed (which I did actually expect in Turkey) Prices not good. Got quoted 25 euros for a little pair of fake Nike trainers for my grandson. A lot of construction work going on here probably to attract tourists but they need to work on the basics first. Would not go back as there are far better places in the world to visit and cheaper when you get there. Just glad I had only booked a short trip.

It was so disgusting food, room is so dirty after been ,,cleaned”, the smell in our room was not nice. I live at first 8th floor so it was raining and the water came to our room (baby sleeps in cot) underneath it was water. Complained- they give us different room. Then the music playing at 23 pm (baby was sleeping ) I hear banging and all of that. The food it was discussing, the bar workers was rude. Snack bar disgusting too. Staff 0 intelligence.

I understood we were going in Feb out of the holiday season but never the less the place was dirty and run down with loads of stray dogs running around! There were no pubs or bars available for drinks so had to make do eith the hotel. We went a day to old town which is lovely and also land of the legends which was nice but if we hadent done that I reckon we would be on a flight home. We stayed in the ramada hotel which we were happy with but don't be fooled the beac and beach bar is 600m away which was closed !totally disappointed in the wallet area of lara beach!

Postives: Long beach, warm sea, scenic night views and shower facilities.
Negatives: Crowded, rubbish on beach, dogs roaming on beach, witnessed people having sex in sea. Drunken women been propositioned in early hours of morning. People camping and living on beach with tents and worst of all "private" section of beach fenced off. Including Buzz Beach where the one armed turkish pirate wanted to charge me 120tl for swimming infront of his resturant in the early hours of the morning !

Our hotel itself was brilliant but the resort itself was very disappointing. Literally nothing to do at night. Kids were bored within 5 mins of leaving the hotel. Main strip consists of clothes shops, thats it. We did go to the go-karting twice for something to do and it was really good but more expensive than other Turkish resorts. We found 3 steak restaurants which were extortionate (for a family of 5 it would have been roughly £200 for a meal and 1 drink, no starter or dessert) and found one pub called The Irish Pub. Ordered 2 vodkas, 1 local beer and 2 fanta for the kids....€35!!!!! Been to lots of resorts in Turkey and everything in Lara is literally double the price from a beer to fake bags and shoes. Also be aware that everything is priced in euros and you get an eye roll if you want to pay in lira. Definitely wouldn't go back. If I could move our hotel anywhere else in Turkey we would

Very poor shops.
Prices just ridiculously high - no item was tagged with a price and was and made up on the spot by the shopkeeper.
So many items have a fake brand name emblazoned unsubtly across it in an attempt to confer some level of quality to it - which it clearly doesn’t have.
Nothing is genuine.
Footpath and public areas are in terrible condition and not at all suitable for high pedestrian numbers.
A really poor experience

We stopped again at the Melas Lara Hotel Lara Beach. Was a bit apprehensive about restrictions, but what a great job hotel staff are doing, serving food from behind perspex screens, waiting staff wearing masks at all times cleaning of hotel is wonderful, temperature taken before going into restaurants. The weather was fantastic sunshine every day. We went to Duden falls, Land of Legends on the evening saw a wonderful water display and a parade of characters floating along in boats with the most dramatic music and a tightrope walker. We then went into Belek for a meal. The Gardeners bar is owned by a lady from London good tasty food, will go there again. Lara market was a must as was a trip toAntalya. Some changes were noticed in Antalya a new tram up to the museum and a new restaurant at the turn point of the old tram. All in all we had a great time. Goes without saying we will be returning to Melas Lara again great entertainment, thanks animation team. Also a big thanks to reception staff and all waiting staff. They make us feel so welcome.

Hi, anyone know how much a taxi into Anatayla and back would be? Or is there a bus/train? We're staying at Lara Beach early April 25

Hi there. I’m travelling to Antalya this weekend and staying at the Trendy Lara Beach. My 10 year old son has autism and loves fishing with his grandad who is also coming on the holiday. Are there any good spots nearby where they would be able to fish? Any recommendations would be really appreciated. Thanks

Can I ask what the weather is like here in April?
Written January 13, 2024
We were in Antalya 12th to the 20th April. We had very pleasant weather, sunny and warm enough to sit out in t shirt and shorts. Warm enough to swim but the season hadn't really started so things like beach loungers and umbrellas were only just being set up. The hotel pool was not ready for use. However it was ideal weather for walking and sightseeing. The temperature in the height of summer is too hot for doing anything more than swimming and lying around

Can anyone recommend a bar to watch English premiere league football in anywhere near the Ramada hotel
Written September 12, 2023
Yes, most of the time when we were there the water was really calm so snorkeling is possible. However I don't think there's a lot to see underwater as there's not many rocks or seaweed.

Anyone know a nice quiet hotel in Lara Beach, don’t mind music playing, just not rave music, from hotel or ones on either side, just back from Baia Lara , and the music from liberty next door was so loud, along with music from Baia, it was anything but relaxing,
Thankyou
