This was the first time I did something similar, I was a little worried about the water. Our guide was very nice and he suggested to get all together in the raft and then try the kayak. It was a very nice day and nice water, not so crazy to handle. However, water was rerally cold and every ime it hit us it was dissaster, next day we were sick. I advise to wear water shoes and long sleeves swimsuit. It does take time to get there but the views were amazing.

I did this in the 90s, I'm now in my early 40s and not quite up to scratch anymore. I did this, the rush it gives you when you hit the rapids and stay in the boat is awesome. The water is quite cold, so you need to be prepared for this, and they sell little boat shoes, which apparently work very well, you go through slick rocks and mud, so something is suggested. You will get wet, guaranteed. It can be a bit of a trek, bit it's completely worth the fun. My tour guide went well out of his way to help me, he was absolutely amazing, beautiful English, and helped me every step of the way. If you want to raft, this is the company you want to go with. Make sure you wear some sort of clothing you don't mind getting wet. You will need to change to other clothes, and you can't take anything in the boat.

While on vacation in Alanya in Aug 2019 we also did rafting. TUI travel Romania recommended us the Dallas rafting club. The road lasted for almost 3 hours and they didn’t provide us with even a bottle of water. You could buy from the bus or some small shop at high prices. At destination, they force you to buy some plastic shoes with 8€ to protect you from the stones. Not really necessary, other tourists with other clubs could keep their own flops. The rafting itself was nice, the river was nice, cold blue water as expected. They stopped us after 30 min at their shop where you could buy water with 2€ and beer with 5€! Or eat some strange stuff in a really bad hygiene environment. Also, they rudely insisted for us to jump into water and ask for as many pictures from them. When refused, they started complain why did you leave the hotel (if we refuse to make them as much money as possible!). Continued the ride on the river for 20 min more after which we arrived at the place for lunch. Food was cooked in weird conditions, lack of hygiene and brought at the table by the skippers of the boats. We didn’t eat if course, not looking for hepatitis or some other disease. Imagine now that you get food and you have to buy the drinks! 2€ water of 0,5€ and 5€ a beer! I got myself some water I left in my bag and I almost had to fight the driver and another one of the crew, supposedly I wasn’t allowed to drink my own water, had to buy it from them. I put them on their spot and took my water. We continued the rafting for 30 min more and arrived at the bus. There, same story, expensive drinks and this time, expensive photos! 4€ a photo and 20€ a video. Journey back took again 3 hours. Glad it was over, I’ll never do it again, at least not with the Dallas rafting or not in Turkey, they’re prob all the same: rude, bad conditions, no respect for the customer. All they care is your money, as much as they can squeeze from you. So think for yourself if you like to be treated like a stupid person with money to take from by these low quality Turkish peasants. It’s a huge mafia and no respect for the client. The only nice thing: nature itself. Done it before in Bosnia, it was really nice.

When we booked the trip, the trip would take 1 hour and 40 minutes. We would pick up at 8:45 and be back at hotel by 17:00-17.30. We got on the bus 08:45 and arrived at 12:00. The trip took 3 hours and 15 minutes because we picked up people in 20 different hotels. NOT OK! When we finally arrived, there was a very long wait in place, before we were given instructions and could get to the starting point. We were also given instructions that all necessary equipment should be included. That's not true, as we had to buy bath shoes in place for 50 TL. The rafting was OK, but too easy for those who want some experience. The rafting gets a 1-2 sticks out of 5 possible. We mostly just slipped on the water, not so much rafting to talk about. The guide was good and tried to get it as good as possible. However, he missed giving some instructions to those who couldn't paddle. We could swim in the cold rafting water three times. Very fun! The lunch with grilled chicken, bread and salad was good. Drinks not inkluded in the prices but that we knew. The trip home, which started at 17:30, when we would be at hotel, took 3 hours. So we spent more than 6 hours on the bus and it was not worth it. Had the trip only taken the promised time, the day would have been perfectly OK but if you want action, do not choose rafting in Turkey. If you have smaller children, this rafting is suitable. We used Dallas Rafting
