This was our first visit to a Haman and I have to say, it was incredible. In these current times, it was a relief to see that they took social distancing seriously. Appointments are required and they only allow two people in at a time. Once in, the doors are closed to all other clients. We went for the full treatment and both enjoyed it. There is a relaxation break before the oil massage where you are given Apple tea and fresh fruit. The staff were very friendly and chatty. The building itself is stunning and has 600 years of massage history. There are cheaper options but I’m not sure you would get the same experience as you will do here.

Antalya trip cannot be completed without a Turkish hamam visit, and the most traditional authentic Turkish Haman is Sefa Hamam.
Once you enter and close the door behind , you will feel that you pass a barrier across the time ! Everything inside is old and reflect the exact Turkish haman atmosphere, walls, furniture even the amazing soap smell.
It is my fifth time to Sefa Hamam and wouldn’t be the last for sure. This time I took the full package with the oil massage.
Hüsain, the man who did all the haman activities to me, was really excellent, expert and professional. He always ask for the level of pressing in both soap and oil massage, as well, he asked if he did a good job or not, once he hear (yes, you are doing perfect) he pleased and smile.
The receptionist is a nice man. He speaks English which make communication easy. Reservation throw website and WhatsApp are even make things more easy and fast.
As mentioned, I will come back again with my next visit to Antalya. This is the true story of authentic traditional Turkish Hamam.

A single woman travelling to Antalya. A visit to an authentic humam on the top of my list to rid my body of old skin so I can achieve a perfect tan. This is the place. I give Sefa a 5 star rating. Friendly efficient receptionist who made me feel very welcome. Lots of time laying around on hot beds in a 600 year old building, authentic and exquisite. Then the humam washing and peeling. Ali undertook this task perfectly. The staff are only men and I felt safe, comfortable and respected and would definitely recommend women to go. This was followed by a wonderful massage, unhurried and relaxing. Sefa is in the old town so great to wander around the lines afterwards. I was also offered Turkish tea before and during and fruit. Totally recommend to everyone. My skin feels amazing

Great experience, although if you are a bit spoiled and used to long oil massage, this one only takes 20 minutes.
But for a very reasonable price, 330 lira or around 30 EUR you will get a full hammam service with scrubbing and foaming and when you are waiting for an oil massage you will get some fresh fruit and tea.
This was my first visit to Sefa Hammam will definetely come again when I am in Antalya. I had Hussein as a master, a big five for him. He does know what he is doing.

To flee
Rude receptionist.
He asks for an appointment, then he asks for an almost obligatory massage. So he refuses, I ask him for the next day he tells me he's charging up front. While there was no one there. Not recommended. Dirty on top of that.
A fuir
Réceptionniste désagréable.
Il demande un rendez vous , ensuite il demande un massage presque obligatoire. Donc il refuse, je lui demande pour le lendemain il me dit il fait payer d’avance. Alors qu’il y avait personne. A déconseiller. Sale en plus.

I do not recommend. My good advice is not to do the booking online. We did it and were refused entry as our online reservation was not confirmed, even though on the website we got a clear message that it IS confirmed! Moreover, they do not even check identity of people who come, so even if you do a booking on the phone they can take somebody else who comes form the street and claims to have a booking. In one word: bad customer service.

I really enjoyed the treatment given by Hussein. He knew exactly where my most tensed muscles were and I feel much more "lighter" after this truly enjoyable massage. It started with being shown the changing room (bring your bikini/trunks with you) then Hussein led me into the actual Hamam and I stayed there about 10 minutes. After that we went in the actual massage room where my entire body was exfoliated followed by the famous foam massage.
Since I booked the full program the full body oil massage followed and I can say it was a real treat and will leave your body and hair all nicely "oiled" up. This is a truly beautiful experience that will transport you back in time. Thank you all for making this experience so pleasurable!

Usually women receive female masseuses, but for whatever reason there were only male masseuses the day I was there. I assumed this would be all right given the reputation of the place, but my masseuse's private parts found their way into my hand several times throughout my experience. He was sexually inappropriate in other ways as well. My friend, another woman, however had a perfectly normal experience.

I had my first Turkish bath experience at Sefa Hamami and was traumatized by it. Without going into explicit details, the male attendant who did my exfoliation and soap massage was totally inappropriate. I have had male masseuses before and none have made me feel as uncomfortable as the attendant at the Sefa Hamami. The whole experience there was disturbing and distressing. If you are a single woman, planning a visit there, please bring along a companion and insist to be in the same room, at the same time, with your companion, for your treatments. The only thing I liked about this hamam was the beauty of the 600 year old interiors.

Massage is an additional service to the Hammam. I didn't see any information on a separate massage.

Hi,
First you should come to city centre from your hotel. Then go to ÜÇKAPILAR / HADRIAN GATE. It is just 5 min. walking way from there. You can ask anybody in the pensions there. They will help you to direct you.
No need for appointment.
Enjoy.
