Can be reached easily from Hadrian's Gate. Just walk in a straight line through the Old Town [Kaleichi] about a ten minute or less walk. You will have a beautiful view of the sea in front of you. Turn to the left and there is a very pleasant walk with the park on your left with some interesting plants, the cliff to your right and beautiful views over the bay.

I visited this place with my wife last week. We walked a small road from the center of Kaleici to this park. The road leading to the park is the nicest place in Kaleici. There are nice places to eat on the go and some places you can rest and relax and enjoy the view on the beach. The view during sunset was very nice, and pictures during that time is worthwile. There are also some activities and games for children.

Beautiful park with magnificent view.
1. If you are into history, you can see the Hidirlik Tower, a fortress which was built by the Romans in the 2nd Century CE. It is just a normal fotress but it fills the park with historical atmosphere.
2. If you are into photography, definitely bring your camera over there. You can take a panoramic pictures of the ocean in the park.
3. If you are into eating, there are also several places to eat in the park.
4. Enjoy :)

Went here with my girlfriend. Way too busy, reminds me of Piccadilly in London what a tourist trap, people begging everywhere. No parking, waste of time. Castle is boring and can’t be touched. What’s the point. Only one good thing is a sea view which you can get from your hotel. Huge safety hazard for kids so many potholes and missing kerbs.

This nice park is next to the Kaleici old district and next to the cliffs next to the sea. You can walk up to the Roman Hidirlik Tower. The stroll takes you into the old Kaleici district and is peaceful as you are not hassled by people trying to sell you things.

There's so much nearby that it can be tempting to miss out this park. Don't. It's absolutely beautiful. The other reviewers have commented on the scenery and views and so on so I'll cover a couple of smaller niceties.
Firstly, there is a small playground near the centre with equipment resembling gym equipment. This is very fun and nothing like what I've come across before in a park. The one that's easiest to describe is equivalent to a cross trainer but with two people facing each other. Other pieces involve your upper body holding on to bars and staying stationary while your legs swing almost uncontrollably from side to side. For more of a challenge, try doing this with your eyes shut. It may be an exercise drive but it's fun either way, and new.
Another thing to note is that the food options here are appropriate. Unlike the beaches where there are food places everywhere that are slightly overpriced, there are a couple of very spacious cafes here. We stopped in one for tost and an ice cream, and sat playing chess in the shade overlooking the sea long after we'd finished. The owner didn't bother us. Very appreciated.
An aspect that you might not expect is the lack of big grassy clearings like I'm used to in British parks. We took a frisbee along looking to play a bit but there was nowhere really suitable. That was fine, but it's worth knowing.

A perfect place to chill out after a walk through Kaleici and enjoy the best view in city centre. After a brake don't miss the nearby Ataturk's house
