Beautiful park above the sea
Aug 2021
This park stretches just southeast from that part of Kaleici old town. As you pass the big circular fortification tower a huge greenery awaits you with many benches around to walk and relax just above the sea.

Karaalioglu Park Antalya
Oct 2019
The Karaalioglu park has just one speciality and this is the view.
You have a great view to the see and the mountains.
From the park you can walk to the harbour through the old city and see the small streets and the old houses.

An Amazing Park
Jan 2020
Beautiful park with magnificent view.
1. If you are into history, you can see the Hidirlik Tower, a fortress which was built by the Romans in the 2nd Century CE. It is just a normal fotress but it fills the park with historical atmosphere.
2. If you are into photography, definitely bring your camera over there. You can take a panoramic pictures of the ocean in the park.
3. If you are into eating, there are also several places to eat in the park.
4. Enjoy :)

Green window to Antalya golf
Jan 2020 • Couples
The park area starts from the cliff next to Hidirlic tower and extends lazily on the clifftop for about 400m. Walking along the wide pedestrian road, under the high shadowy pine trees, you have the bright blue sea on one side and the beautiful green park on the other. At the background of the blue, gray mountain picks rise, while on the other side, the green "painting" extends to a depth of 400m to the city limits, interrupted by cafes, tea houses, playing grounds, small pathways.
A relaxing place not to be missed!

Park overlooking the Mediterranean, great sunsets
May 2019
Karaalioglu Park (a.k.a. Karaalioğlu Parkı) is a large park on the south west side of Kaleiçi (old town). Perched on a promontory overlooking the Mediterranean, it offers expansive views of the Gulf of Antalya, the Taurus Mountains to the west, and magnificent sunsets. At the northwest corner, the ancient fortress of Hıdırlık Tower overlooks the Roman harbor. The park has paved paths, flower beds, formal plantings, and benches. A monument to Nâzım Hikmet (a Turkish poet, playwright and novelist), a statue of Don Quixote, the Worker and Son monument, the Hand sculpture and the Frog sculptures are in the park. Cafes, restaurants and shops surround the park. After the hustle and bustle of Kaleiçi, I most enjoyed sitting on a bench and gazing out over the incredible blue of the Mediterranean. Karaalioglu Park is open at all times with no entry fee; it is easily reached on foot or by tram.

Great place to spend a lazy few hours
Oct 2019
Located directly south of the Kaleiçi (downtown) district of Antalya along the cliffs, this is a perfect place to go if you have a couple of hours to spend and no particular place to go. There's a playground for children, as well, but my special recommendation is the çaybahçesi (tea garden), where you can go proper Turkish-style and order a semaver of tea - we sat there for about 2 hours, first waiting for then slowly sipping the tea, all the time looking out at the see through the palm trees. Lovely!

Peaceful and quiet
Oct 2019
Really loved spending time here looking at the mediterranean and small and large boats with tourists passing through. The park area in itself is pretty nice and there is also a large plaza in the middle which has a large slope to sit on and enjoy the sea and sunset.

There are a couple of restaurants here which provide good food at decent prices. The park is always swarming with locals, people cycling, kids playing or skating. It's a proper place for family hangout. Very quiet and peaceful.
