Cleopatra is the most famous beach on Turkish Riviera. It owes its name to the last hellenistic Queen of Egypt. According to legends, Antony brought as a gift to his beloved Cleopatra the Mediterranean pearl-the luxurious city of Alanya. Every time she went from Egypt for camping, the Queen stopped here to swim in the mirror-clear lagoon and soak up the magnificent sandy carpet. Since then, the beach of Cleopatra irresistibly attracts those who expect a royal vacation.

Really loved the beach here but we went when it was windy so umbrellas were flying everywhere and the sea was too choppy to go in as the waves were too high. We found a lovely cafe near the beach and the staff running our hotels section were really nice. We also bought watermelon for £5 off a man on the beach

We loved this beach as it was part of Cooks Corner hotel so the access to it was easy.
Lots to see while you are lay on your sun bed. At one point seven ships must of been on the water. Paragliding going on above .
Lots of families out for the day
This beach had a lovely relaxed atmosphere and no lucky lucky men are allowed so you can relax in peace
This beach is perfect to watch the sunset

I was in alanya 10 years ago and then last week. This time I was so disapointed. Very dirty see, full of plastic and some yelowish stinky liquid. Beach is full of cigaretts. I dont remember it was dirty before.

Cleopatra Beach is the most beautiful beach I have been to so far. It is made of fine gravel, which I personally adore because it does not sting when walking and yet it is not like sand that it cannot be removed when it is glued to everything possible. Sunbeds are mostly rented from the hotel but can also be paid for at your own expense and I think the price for two sunbeds and an umbrella is around 25-30tl depending on the number of the beach and the person in charge of the sale. I was at beach 7 and everything was correct. Each part of the beach has its own bar where you can buy drinks or ice cream. The very entrance to the beach is tiny pebbles that turn into stone slabs as you enter deeper. We were there for 10 days and there were waves every day, which we like. It may be a little more inconvenient for small children but it’s not that scary. It is important to go through that first part where the waves break (if they are stronger that day) and the rest is really OK. Plenty of kids bathed with hoses and muscles. The beach is quite wide about 80m and deck chairs are placed away from the sea so you can put a towel in front or bring your umbrella. The beach has a free shower and a changing cabin.

My kids (who've never touched a bird before) loved him! as did i actually lol Definately worth visiting! Oh only downside is u have to pay to use the loo. not much, about 1.5 lira :)

The beach is quite nice. The sea is clean, but deep, even right at the entrance to the water. It’s not very suitable for non-swimmers and people who cannot swim well, especially because the waves are strong and big almost every day. It’s a challenge even for experienced swimmers.

The sea is very pleasant for swimming; regardless the Sun in Alanya is very strong, the sea doesn’t get warm at all, it remains refreshing during the day.

The great thing is that there is a lot of space between the sunbeds, so even when there are many people at the beach, it's not actually crowded. The most important tip I can give is to wear slippers while swimming, as entering the water can be quite tricky due to the slippery rocks and stones at the bottom. If you don't wear them, you risk cutting yourself.

The beach could be cleaner, however. There are many cigarette butts in the sand, discarded bottles, even beer bottle openers, which is dangerous for bare feet. One more reason to wear slippers, if you want to protect yourself. The toilet on the beach costs 3 Turkish liras, I think. You don’t have to order any drink or food if you stay at certain hotels, all you need is hotel’s voucher, so basically you can use sunbeds for free.

First visited in 2018 summer. The beach was clean, cozy, fantastic view. Now visited in 2022 spring - full of garbage, people, no empty place etc. It could be such a beautiful place - just a little care needed and less of plastic beach beds and other stuff.

My first time going to this hotel with my husband, cannot explain how amazing the hotel was, and fantastic. Although the downside was the sea may be a little distant, but overall I recommend this hotel and will defiantly go back.

The rooms were fantastically clean, the supervisor Nimet dealt with our query promptly.

It’s a lovely beach. But it’s all occupied by beach clubs. It’s hard to get a part which isn’t occupied by lots of people or sun beds. If you walk along a little you’ll find it, it’s true what they say about the water being deep a few steps in. Also the sand is super hot and fine so you’ll need they beach slippers!
