Visit and enjoy the old architecture. Don’t spend so much. Nearby is the Medrese, don’t forget to have a Turkish coffee there.

One of the symbols of Adana, this tall clock tower will definitely impress you especially in the evening when it is beautifully lit. It is next to the Kazancilar area and the Ulu Camii ( Grand Mosque) in the old part of the city.

The Great Clock Tower is a historical icon of Adana and the tallest clock tower in Turkey, rising 32 m (105 ft) high. Some locals introduce as if it's a Roman Architecture however this clock tower started its construction in 1879 during Ottoman Empire.

The clock deserves a quick look but its more about the experience of the area its located. With single story shops, tight streets, and authentic people trying to make a living and going about their daily routine. Also look for the historic building turned museum...More
