Jalel is a super professional deep sea and navy diver who has been diving since 1984. He is punctual, precise but also very kindly and patient. Whereas other dive operators in Tunisia only start diving after Ramadan or in May, Yasmine Dive Center offers dives daily, weather permitting. They respond promptly via Facebook Messenger if you contact them early in the morning or evening and confirm your diving two days in advance. They offer a variety of sites including a 17 meter WW2 wreck which is an easy dive for all levels. Jalel also recommended the Octopus Garden which apparently has octopus about 12 kg in size. The dive center has a nifty catamaran with toilet onboard as well as a smaller speedboat to transport divers. The dive center offers good equipment and lets you access the clean marina toilets and hot showers. Note however that the water is cold out of season—16C in March and they have 3 mm wet suits but will let you wear two of them on top of each other. I had a very enjoyable time and felt completely safe. The 17 meter Italian WW2 wreck is a thirty minute speedboat ride from the harbor so bring seasickness medication if you are prone to nausea.

If you want to dive, make sure you’re getting to see the wreck. Beautiful old ship around at 15m. Lots of sealife and you can dive through the wreck. Great staff. Very professional

My partner and I visited the dive centre on Monday the 18th March, we booked a dive for the next day, we payed a 110 Tunisian Dinar deposit with an outstanding amount of 120 upon arrival the next day, when we arrived we were greeted very nicely, offered some water and made comfortable. The Instructor went through the equipment while in the shop, he walked is through hand signals and what we would be doing aswell, his English was very good and he was very friendly, we then changed into our wetsuit and got on the small speed boat that took us about 20 minutes to our dive site. We then dived one at a time, this allowed the instructor to pay all his attention to one of us at a time. (Very professional) I proceeded to dive first, we dived to a shallow wreck at about 5 metres, I got to see a fair amount of marine life and was very pleased with what I was shown. I would happily recommend this dive centre :)

quite nice approach. English on good level. payable before diving. equipment average. no briefing. almost none communication on the boat. 44 minutes on chasing after "blind" DM. bad visibility. poor reef instead more expensive wreck. very short way from harbour to the diving spot. maybe it was a random location. catamaran sailing yacht on a motor. no drinking water on the boat or in the diving centre. it was nice to try with them, but that's all. they don't seem to be professionals on their job. in my opinion they don't really take care on participating divers. "after I paid 110dt they almost forgot about me" ;)
