Cute!

This is a cute little shop that offers ice cream & fudge. We tried two kinds of fudge. Both were real good. The clerk was very nice.

I love going to this candy shop every summer. It is hard to find good quality chocolate but the Lil River Fudge Co does it right ! The selection of fudge and chocolates is large and we love the huge mellowcups ( they weigh about 1/4 of a pound ) The walnut clusters have a huge amount of nuts and... More

Lil' River fudge company was one of the only good retail experiences in the Alexandria Bay New York area. The staff was not overly helpful but their fudge is excellent.

I know they are known for their fudge but I'm more of a chocolate lover. There hasn't been a chocolate that I have tried (almond bark, marshmallow cups, turtles) from here that I haven't loved. I prefer the chocolates over the milk, but both are very tasty. If in the area and you are craving a nice piece of chocolate... More

I stopped in the store after reading all the good reviews. I purchased 1/2 lb. of fudge. When I got home, I measured the fudge (without the box) on a very accurate scale and it was only 5.3 oz. Very disappointed to say the least.

Transplant this shop into pretty much any Jersey shore town, or small Finger Lakes town and it would be unremarkable. But considering it's location, it's one of the few bright spots in run-down and seedy Alex Bay. It's been more than 13 years since I've visited Alexandria Bay, and my, how times have changed! Other than kitschy souvenir shops selling... More

I looked this up on Tripadvisor before we drove up to Alex Bay and we stopped in after visiting Boldt Castle. I didn't get a sample there but waited till we got home. If I had, I certainly would have bought more for sure. It is tastey but not that sickening sweet. Truly delicious. I can see why it was... More

Lil' River Fudge is absolutely fantastic. It is rich and creamy...no sugary grains...just smooth and flavorful. They continue to add flavors. This year my nephew wanted to try the Red Velvet. Wow. We both thought they nailed it perfectly. Our favorites are creamsicle, amaretto and maple walnut. We also tried the dark chocolate caramel sea salt and lemon meringue. Both... More

We stopped at the ice cream store with my nephews and asked for four ice cream cones. I guess the soft serve flavors are too much for the one girl because she ordered two more employees to assist making two soft serve cones, while another employee served us two hard ice cream cones. When paying the guy I gave hime... More

This fudge is so awesome that last Christmas I mail ordered it for gifts. Our trip to the area would not be complete without a stop to this excellent shop.
