One of the most breathtakingly beautiful places on earth, the Thousand Islands Region is an international tourism destination located along the eastern shores of Lake Ontario and the St. Lawrence River. It is home to many quaint villages and sits just along the border between the United States and Canada. This region was named after the 1,793 islands that are nestled within this scenic international waterway. With recent advances in cold hardy grape production, the Thousand Islands is quickly becoming one of New York State’s fastest growing wine regions. The Thousand Islands Winery was the first winery in the region and boasts not only multiple acres of vineyards, but also breathtaking scenery, a fun and unique tasting room atmosphere, and of course award winning wines!

They have an outstanding and knowledgeable staff. Everyone is truly friendly and welcoming. The variety of wines is second to none with a taste for every palette. The Winery is well stocked with wine as well as a huge selection of items for household, wearable and gift ideas. I stop by every time I visit the area... which is regularly.

Just left this winery and loved it here! Warm and friendly staff. Will certainly come back again to visit soon! Love their wine merchandise and other goodies in the shop too!

The Thousand Islands Winery has been a favorite of mine for quite a long time. I happen to enjoy wines on the sweeter end of the spectrum. You can't go wrong with any of their wines but mine favorites are North Country Red and the Riesling.

I love oakey Chardonnay, and they had one! The server was knowledgeable and friendly. Husband tasted beers. Bought wine, pretzels, and cheese. A great stop on a whim.

Nice location right off the main highway in town. My husband and I visited this winery on our summer vacation. Our airbnb was right down the road, so we walked over to sample the wine. We waited a really long time to even be acknowledged by the staff at the tasting bar, I'm talking several minutes here, and there were... More

After touring the islands, we decided to do a wine tour (tasting). We did the tasting of 10 for $5. We typically prefer dry wines, but had a good experience with some of the semi-dry wines. The St Lawrence Red was good. We really enjoyed our time and wines here.

We just happened to be driving by looking for the visitor center which is right beside the bridge that goes over the st. Lawrence River. This morning was very nice it's in an Old Barn and very well decorated we didn't taste any wine as we were running short on time but this was a very nice find

We visited as part of a bus tour. The staff was very nice. They had us set up in a room for a private tasting. We also got a tour of the wine makers facility.

The Octoberfest was great! Sampled cheese, chocolate, wine, spirits, etc. Many vendors with authentic German food. Great selection of wines. Tasting was excellent! Even tasted some spirits and they were great. Nice gift shop. Cheese curds so good!!
