Very nice property and well worth the trip and boat ride. Castle still under renovations so understand some work still going on but doesn't interfere with your experience. A must do when visiting the area.

If you go to Boldt Castle do miss the Yacht house. Very interesting original structure and the boats!

If you like antique boats and want just a little something different to go along with your Boldt Castle trip, take the short boat shuttle ride over and enjoy some amazing boats and a glimpse into a different perspective of life 100 years ago.

We went on the two hour cruise on the St Lawrence River and the 1000 Islands. It was great. Beautiful!! We are so glad that we did this tour. Although we didn't take the time after the cruise to stop at Heart Island and tour the castle, we did go back the next day and spent several hours there. Well... More

If you are inteestin old boats this is the place for you. My husband loved it, I was more interested in the captain's quarters above. Definitely worth the extra $3

As you can see from the pictures, the Boldt Yacht House is quite unique and beautiful, plus it is nearly all original. That includes some very nice... More

Built in the same style as Boldt Castle but smaller. The ladies/guides are super nice and welcoming. For 12$ you will have entrance to both the Yacht House and Boldt Castle as well as the water taxi ride to go to Boldt Castle. Great deal. You can spend the day at the Castle but bring food. On the other hand... More

Nice view from the perspective of a boat, Uncle Sam boat tours need improving upon but the sites are pretty, flowers, castle etc. I wouldn't rate it too high though. There are better things to see in the Adirondacks. Seems like they cater to the money, not the people.
