Nong Prajak is a peaceful oasis in the middle of Udon. There is a bike/walking path around the lake and there are shortcut paths across a replica of the Golden Gate bridge. If you want some excitement buy some bread scraps and feed the fish. Hundreds of fish gather for each morsel. There are restaurants mostly on the eastern side... More

Nong Prajak Park is a very famous Park in Udon Thani. It has a walking track as well as a cycling track. It is like a landmark to Udon Thani. Around the park there many Street vendors and restaurants where one can have a meal after a nice long walk. There are many Thai massage parlours which offer a nice... More

...but if you stay in Thailand, not at one of these tourist places like Pattaya, Chiang Night Market, Patong, Nana or Patong this is a place you should go in the morning before 10 am or in the afternoon passed 5 pm. Why? Simple to see and understand how daily life of "normal" Thai citizen, families is going on. People... More

One of the cleanest public parks I have seen so far in my traveling years. In the middle of a busy town it's amazing to have such a tranquil place. After a busy day you can either jog, walk, cycle or just sit down in on of the chairs provided in every corner and have your evening tea or coffee.... More

the park was under maintenance when i was there. there is nothing much to do here unless you are cycling or jogging, its not even beautiful. entrance is free, if i remember correctly. i have seen many better parks.

In Nong Prajak Park, there are many people spend morning time to do some exercise, relaxing or just waiting for their family (It's opposite to Udon Thani hosp.) I spend time with my friend just relaxing by walk around the park. The weather is blue, many clouds, not too hot nut not too good for relaxing, haaaa l. There is... More

A beautiful tranquil and well kept park with lakes and cafe near by. Well worth a cycle ride to see it all.

Around the lake is a 3k running course and a seperate bike course, so you can actually run without looking out for bikes all the time. There's a peninsula in the lake with lovely bridges. Around the lake on the west are fruit stands and restaurants. Really love to run and hang out there.

The park is open from 4am until 8pm with the most popular time to visit being late afternoon and early evening. Bicycles can be hired in the north-west corner of the park, but make sure you stay in the bike lane to avoid pedestrians and follow the one-way system in operation. Please note the park is an alcohol free zone... More
