Tourists were one of me because it was rainy season and the season was out. It was a grab taxi from the hotel, 70B. I think it's tough to walk 4km each way. Yellow Duck welcomes you. Adjacent museums are also free to visit. It was a relaxing pond.

A nice place to spend a few hours or have a picnic. Nicely landscaped with plenty of shady places to sit or stroll on the small island. Sizeable children's playground, toilets, even a tai chi area. There's a bike path that rings the park, not sure of the overall length, maybe around 3 km. Across the road along the east side of the park, there are many local restaurants (at the north end) and a whole row of massage shops (at the south end). Prices at these massage shops are lower than those near Central Plaza, so if you're on a budget you might consider walking over to this part of town. All together, this park is absolutely worth a visit for a relaxing morning or afternoon outing.

The best place for excercise in the central city if Udonthani Province. Here, you can walking, joging, running, aerobic dancing, biking, riding boat or others. The running track is very good, same as the bike track. The distance is around 4.5 km. You can see people visit here all day. Lots of government places and shops around.

This park is nice if you want to exercise. There is a bicycle lane around the lake and a special spot for skateboards. Besides an old helikopter there is nothing else to see.
If you want to see the big yellow ducks, head for Thesa Road and follow the sign.

This is a popular lake in town. There is a bike riding track and walking track around it. There's also a kids play ground in the middle. You can hire duck paddle boats which are always fun. There are lots of restaurants around and massage shops.
Very relaxing area for families and couples.

Any night from 5pm onwards this lake becomes alive with activity. It is the hub of Udon Thani. There is outside aerobics classes, a separate cycling and walking/running track around the 3.1km lake. Here will you rarely see a tourist or a westerner, this is where the locals come to enjoy themselves. There is many restaurants (all alcohol free) and numerous outside thai massage places. very relaxing getting a foot massage, looking out to the lake whilst the locals walk or run past. On Friday and Saturday nights there is also a local market that has lots of tasty food and bargains at thai prices.

This is one of the most pleasant areas in Udon Thani, worth spending some time in the park - just to be away from the city noise.

The park was a lovely place to walk and relax with lots of room and a variety of spaces. A walking track and a cycling track surround the park.
