About
Rayong is the perfect place for beginners learning how to scuba dive; for students who plan to take their open water test out in the sea and also for people who wish to refresh their scuba diving skills because the sea in Rayong is relatively shallow and its water current is just right as it is not strong. Boating traffic in this area is also relatively low and each destination is only a short boat ride away from each other. There are many dive sites in the area, you can experience lots of colorful soft corals at a dive site called “Japanese Garden”. For those of you who like big fish, you may get a chance to encounter schools of barracuda and if lucky, even the whaleshark, which is every diver’s dream to see, at least once in a lifetime, at a dive site called Hin Pleung (Alhambra Rock). At the dive site called Hin Saphan, there are many schools and species of fish and also a chance to encounter the green turtle. Finally, at the dive site of “Sand Terrace” you will get a chance to find the rare sawblade shrimp, sea horse, different species of nudibranchs and the giant sea sponge.

My wife and I went out over the past weekend and had an amazing dive experience with Rayong Dive Center. We are both inexperienced divers, and my wife particularly hasn't been in a few years and had anxiety about getting back into it.
After lots of back and forth texts beforehand on Line, RDC agreed to provide us with our own private divemaster for 2 days for very close attention and "hand-holding" through the process, which made us feel very safe and made the experience very enjoyable.
Our divemaster "Dong" was very personable and friendly as well as knowledgeable. The boat we went out on was big and clean, all the equipment we rented was quality, and the snacks and lunch aboard the boat was all delicious.
The visibility wasn't ideal being at the end of season, but we still were able to see plenty and most importantly help my wife overcome her nervousness with diving.
Lastly, one of the best discoveries from the trip was that the Rayong Dive Center itself is on a beautiful and nearly empty beach! While the area we stayed in near Mae Phim was extremely crowded with all the crazy Songkran festivities, here was this amazing oasis. Upon returning from our dive the first day we hung out on the beach and had drinks and pretty much had the entire beach to ourselves. We ended up coming back the next two days and had equally enjoyable and quiet experiences. There are two small resort/restaurants next door to Rayong Dive Center and they both were very friendly and allowed us to use their beach chairs for free and had plenty of good drinks and food.
So go dive with Rayong Dive Center, then finish the dive with a beautiful late afternoon on the beach!

Visiting the area on way down south and decided I needed a dive. I dropped in and booked a double dive for the next day. Everything ran smoothly on the day with crew going about their tasks in a professional and friendly manner. The boat and gear was in good condition and it was an enjoyable day. Convenient distance from Bangkok for locals and visitors wanting to complete their Open Water or other specialities. I will dive with them again next time Im in the area.

I did part of my ow training at this dive centre and they were very professional and service minded. The thai(!) dive master had good communication skills and was easy to understand in English. I had to cancel my last dive and they were very understanding and gave me a refund. I totally recommend this place for beginners!
The water wasn't very clear (seasonal?) but I saw some beautiful coral and fishes at the dive site.

They have a new big boat, New diving centre, great instructors and very friendly with good English. If you are thinking of diving in this area look no further. Highly recommended. I have an open water padi and they picked me up from a nearby hotel and I had a great day out.

My friend I spent 5 days there, getting our Open Water And Advanced Certificate. It was the most amazing experience ever. The dives were beautiful, we felt so safe in the hands of the whole family and all the nephews that help around the resort and on diving trips.
Would absolutely recommend, and we are definitely coming back. It was the best way to learn how to scuba dive ever.

My daughter and I spent 2 relaxing days with RDC on Alhambra Rocks and did 6 dives in total. Friendly people, professional divers and great chef serving delicious food on-board. Big thanks to all for safe diving and luxurious time on the boat.

We had a really enjoyable day with the RDC team. My husband dived as myself and our son snorkelled.
The boat was comfortable with good facilities on board.
The was plenty of snacks and drinks available throughout the day.
Everything was professional and safe yet relaxed and fun as well.
I would highly recommend them, we hope to return later in the year when the visibility is better.

Hi there, we are holidaying on Koh Munnork over the New Year 2018. There is a group of us, adults and teens, who would like to earn our PADI licence ( basic 2-day course). Would any of your teachers consider coming to the island to give the course?
Kind regards,
Elaine
