Worth a visit. Quiet crowded though wen I went. Still sunset was amazing so bring your camera. A lot of shops that offer food and ouveniers. Popular for foreign and local tourist alike. You can also visit their light house from here. It offers a view of windmills on the right, sunset in the middle and light house on the... More

Even though it's the time of the monsoon season we still can chase the sunset at Prompthep cape. Lively tourist like place but can be bit too busy. Arrive in time and take some nice pics of the last lost moments ☀️ there's a free car park nearby and some shopping facilities with locals.

Phrom Thep Cape – Rawai, Phuket, Thailand Rent a motor bike for the easiest way to get there. Many tour buses go there as well. 095-561-6057 Great lookout view point of the ocean at the southern tip of Phuket Island! Well worth the visit. If you go for the sunset it is a trade off as there are many people... More

This is actually a nice place to take a walk. Very crowded at times, but still ok. Up top is a lighthouse and small museum which were free to go into while I was there. Back near the carpark (on the other side of the road) there are a few shops and cafes and there is a pay toilet that... More

Amazing place to go in the south of Phuket, close to Rawai and Nai Harn. Make sure you go there to see a sunset, amazing views. Lots of tourists at sunset with cameras :) Go then to Promthep Cape Restaurant, amazing views ! :)

Nice view with sunset, suitable for little child, walk around for 1-2 hours and have snap shot. I drove there by myselves, easy with many parking lots.

Its a nice place to see the views and take different pics, however it doesn't have enough shady areas and can be too hot on a good sunny day. you can plan to visit different beaches like kata, karon, view point and then visit phromthep cape so that you can cover the whole area in one day. We didn't had... More

A "Must" for all people coming to Phuket to see the south end with incredible Sunsets mostly (weather dependant). There is a small trail to go to the most southern point, but be careful and watch your step. In the time around sunset very busy, so not easy to find a private place making pictures of yourself and your friends... More

I went to Phuket on 18th June 2016 and stayed in a resort called Navatara Phuket located in Rawai Area, so it made it very easy for me to go to this lovely sunset point as free shuttle service is given by the resort to this point. One of the top class locations in Phuket , everyone visiting Phuket shouldn't... More

You just have to allocate an evening during your time in Phuket to see this! Reach here at around 5.30 if you are coming by taxi or come earlier if you are driving to find a parking spot.. Ignore the shops and stalls around as they are really costly compared to other ones in town.Walk straight up the stairs and... More
