I have to say up front that we did not dive with this company. We arrived to Phuket on Dec. 31st. I called Andaman Ocean Safaris on the morning of Jan. 1 EARLY to see if we could book a dive instructor to do the open water dives for my son. He was trying to get PADI certified and required his 4 open water dives. David, the man who answered his phone worked diligently to arrange for another dive company in Phuket (Sea Fun Divers - also great) to accommodate my son. It was a couple of hours before this was all arranged but I have to say... this man did not have to work so hard on our behalf. He went above and beyond which tells me something about the integrity of this dive center. If I ever return, I will call David at Andaman Ocean Safaris to set up dives!

After the Typhoon in the Philippines caused us to cancel our dive trip to Puerto Galera I contacted David at Andaman Ocean Safaris in Phuket to see if they could accommodate (last min) 2 people for an Open Water PADI dive course. David was fantastic and in 30-40Mins had organized a 3 Day tailor made private dive course for us as well as a hotel reservation (Pier42 Hotel). He advised us on the best & cheapest option for booking flights & his info was spot on. He had his driver waiting for us at the airport the next morning (0430am) and took us straight to their newly constructed dive center, which is Fantastic & Modern. They literally opened their doors for us in order to accommodate our tight schedule.
The course was completed in 3 days and was excellent and efficient. Our dive instructor Alwin was great and also very accommodating and patient as we plugged away at all the required course material. The 2nd & 3rd days of the course were out on their boat which is quite large and offers 3 levels which all have plenty of space. The boat is immaculate and in great condition and is great to be out on. Breakfast, lunch & afternoon snacks on the boat are great and lunch is especially tasty with the Thai dishes served. All staff were friendly, polite and most importantly safety conscious. The schedule is well planned & efficient and allows you to have 2 dives completed and back to Chalong pier by 3pm. This is fantastic planning from Andaman Ocean Safaris as it left us half the afternoon to still do stuff (or nap).
After finishing the Dive course we had a free day in Phuket to relax and do some tourist things. David took the time & put together his recommendations for some of his picks of "must do" things in Phuket. We took on Davids recommendations and really enjoyed our last day out in Phuket.
Overall a Fantastic experience that saved our dive trip and we can't wait to be back. Book with Andaman and you will not have to worry about anything.

My brother and I went to Phuket for 10 days with the intention of me doing my Rescue divers course and my brother doing his open water course and some additional fun dives.
The pool and classroom facilities are great and the best I have encountered. The course provided was very good and the instructor did his best to make every scenario as real as possible... The boat is very well equipped and food provided are as good as it gets...
Service by staff and every one is top notch and they will bend over backwards to help.
Will definitely return in the next year or two to do my Dive Master course...

These chaps have a very nice dive boat that can easily accommodate up to 50 divers. They provide breakfast that is just as good as the buffet breakfast that was available at our supposedly 5 star hotel, lunch, and a snack of pancakes after the 3rd dive. They charge for all soft drinks and alcoholic drinks.
Unfortunately the shuttle that they use from Patong to Chalong resembles that of a Tuk Tuk, not that comfortable when there is a 1+ hour shuttle involved to/from the marina to the hotel.
The staff was excellent.
The package that we were on was 3 dives per day, meals, tanks, weights. Cost approx. 3,500 baht, A little pricey.
Gear rentals (bcd, reg, etc.) are an extra charge.
This charter boat does strictly day trips.
Facilities on board the boat include 3 heads(real toilets), 2 dry areas, 3 decks, and loads of space to relax.
The day we went there were 17 customers plus crew on board the boat.
fyi. from what I can gather, this boat was used for overnight charters, and was converted for day dive trips.
Would we consider Using their services again: Yes, for the dive boat, not the shuttle service.
Would I recommend this operation: Yes, though if you are budget conscious there are other operators in the Patong area that offer better pricing. Unfortunately we found out about them near the end of our trip. Though we have no idea as to what their offerings are really like.

We went on diving day trip with Andaman Ocean Safaris, we were given an unforgettable memory that had both professionalism and experience... which really came in handy as we hadnt dived in some years so we were also recommended to take a refresher course
David and his team really delivered a fantastic service and we would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone wanting a great day of diving

A great day out and superbly arranged. Thanks to David and his team for organising the trip. Lunch onboard was also tasty. The areas were well chosen and the training was top notch. Much appreciated and thanks again for a beautiful day out. Oh yes, the guide on the boat was entertaining and with some great stories. Will highly recommend to all.

Please Google 'Dive via sInks in Phuket' and see the amount of boats that snk here. Even if the specific dive company has 5 stars I.e. Sharke Scuba - it's what boat your on that can save your life! Don't use Sharkey Scuba. Andaman Ocean Safari guys rescued us when ours was sinking and I was very impressed with them. Please check weather conditions yourself (maritime weather report) before you dive trip that day.

We had a fantastic day of diving at Racha Yai with Andaman Ocean Safaris. The boat was great with excellent staff on board to help make the dive day easy. The food was awesome and Daniel, the dive master provided, was also fantastic. The owner, David and his staff went above and beyond to help us, including arranging repairs for our personal diving gear and delivering a bag to our hotel that we had left behind in the boat. We will definitely be back

We had a fantastic time, very professional team, unbelievable diving sites. The boat and facilities offered were excellent and the food was reasonably priced. Love to be back soon. Cheers Dave.

I was invited to join a two dive trip to Racha Yai (including the wrecks in Bay 1). This was my first trip with Andaman Ocean Safaris though they have an outstanding reputation in the industry notably for high levels of safety and service.
Breakfast was served as we left Chalong Pier on the 90min trip. There was a wide variety to choose from, hot and cold with plenty of tea/coffee. My favourite was the 'Joe' thick rice soup - you add Coriander and more to suit your taste - seriously, this is the best I've had.
Breakfast, Lunch and snacks on the return journey are complimentary, plenty of variety (& rice), fruit etc.
The Dive Boat has just had its annual refit so it, and all amenities are immaculate, the first thing you notice is the amount of room to move. Dive set up area is particularly wide making it easy for everybody and there are a three decks where you can relax, chat or study.
Staff are friendly and efficient, safety is a major concern, they're very professional logging entry/exits and customer welfare in general.
Book a trip - you won't regret it!
