Travelled to Rawai, and headed to the seafood market. Walk past all the shell stalls and you'll arrive at the seafood sellers. Choose the amount of seafood you'd like to eat, pay for it and take your purchases to any of the cafés that are opposite the stall. And they will cook your selection in any way you'd like. We... Beautiful day beach, peaceful and water is not rough so good for non-swimmers. Perfect day trip out and market stalls nearby with coconut water and mango for a nibble.

Rawai Beach is a good access point to go on boat trips by way of the long tail boats that sit on the foreshore. You can order delicious thai cuisine and sit on the seaside at table belonging to the restaurant. A good place for fish and sea food as the fish market is close by. It is not a... More

I love coming down to Rawai for the day, the beaches are relaxing and stunning to take photos of. It's not really a swimming beach except for some locals, it's mainly a beach to sit, eat and drink at to enjoy the beautiful view. There are so many restaurants and cafes along the beach which are open for lunch and... More

It's a quiet beach. Couple of people visits daily. Good to mind your steps as we found broken glass pieces on sands.

There is a little sand at each end, but it's difficult to access and strewn with debris, including rusty tin cans and broken glass... But we were careful and collected lots of lovely shells from there...

We spent quite a few evenings dining along the foreshore in Rawai beach. Many little restaurants on one side of the busy main road have locations on the waterfront opposite. It was quite amusing to watch our food dodging the traffic to get to us! Plenty of choices re fish etc and the curries are good too.Accompanied by a cool... More

We stayed in Rawai for 10 nights in Rawai Palm Beach Hotel, a stone throw from the beach. Plenty of bars and restaurants along the beach, little pier and market close by. Variety of long tail and speed boats to hire, take one and go to Coral Island, a must! Not a swimming beach, however nice to sit in a... More

Beautiful setting, minus the hustle and bustle of Patong, offers a beautiful beach, good restaurants ans bars, with a more relaxed atmosphere. I stayed at the Rawai Plantation Villas, very nice, secluded but a stone throw from the action.
