Much quieter

Was pleasantly surprised at how this beach was different from the all familiar patong Beach. Much quieter and peaceful. There are some bars, shops, massage shops as well.

Long road of fresh seafood restaurant with very good environment because it is a long straight beach that you can see local boat park in low tide bay ,you will hear sound of wave and cool wind. Good to go after 5pm

This is a very scenic place with lots of good restaurants/bars and a jump off point for boats, both long tail and speedboat. Very nice place to be at sunset... Not really a swimmers beach but good for toddlers when tide is in. Also a place to explore pools when tide is out for crabs etc.

Beautiful place worth visiting. Many cafes and restaurants around. You can rent a boat or book a trip. Definitely less busy than Patong Beach.

It is still untouched by tourists at the moment (unlike Patong), so I enjoyed the peace and serenity tremendously. Fried chicken - EXCELLENT!!

Called here on the putput and saw there were the traditional boats doing trips to "the islands" got chatting to one of the owners, he gave a few different trips as options and we plumped for the nearest island as we were planning on doing the full fat trip a few days later. He told us about a little island... More

We stayed here for one week since it is incredibly relaxed and wayyy less touristy than Patong, Karon, Kata, etc. The beach is not for swimming but rather to rent a long tail boat and discover some of the beautiful islands! If you want to spend a day at the beach, just take a bus to Nai Harn beach which... More

Using a scooter is a little unwise if not licensed to drive one so make sure you get this license. Get a scooter and go everywhere. This is a great place to explore from.

Yes, it is Not the nicest beach for swimming. But you have nai Harn just 15 min away for that. If you go to rawai beach you have a nice view of some islands, you can have great dinner watching the sunset (for example AT the rawai beach view Restaurant). You also experience an athmosphere with rather few Tourists. If... More
