At the beginning of September, I went on a trip with my boyfriend's family to Chao Samran Beach. Phetchaburi Province Even though the weather is a bit hot But there was always a sea breeze blowing. And most importantly, the view is very beautiful. The food is also very tasty

Chad Chao Samran.
Apr 2021 • Family
On April 13 My family and I went to Chad Chao Samran. which is a tourist destination that my family and I go to every year This place is a windy sea, but it's hot as well. But no matter how hot the sun is, this place has a lot of tourists, especially foreigners.

Chao Samran Beach
Sep 2020 • Family
It's a place that I really like. Because of the good atmosphere, cool breeze, touching water, waves and sunlight, it's a place that I often go with my family. When you have free time, delicious food, clean sandy beaches, scattered tourists. Very cool weather The seafood here is super delicious. The seafood is fresher than anywhere else. That's why I love it here.

Pretty Beach, Not Crowded
Feb 2019 • Solo
This is a nice option to Cha-am beach. The beach itself is wider and a bit prettier than Cha-am, although there is more plastic rubbish on the sand. There are some food sellers along the beach but nowhere near as many as Cha-am beach has. Mats are abailable for rent at 20b. Typical 5b public restrooms. Mostly Thai people use this beach, but don't let that discourage you - everyone I encountered seemed cheerful.

Relaxation
Dec 2018
Wonderful untouched natural beach that stretches for miles, no bars, no karaoke, no malls, just relaxing sun sea and sand.
Would recommend visiting the army officers retreat for lunch as it always very fresh and good prices.

Bit sparse
Jul 2018 • Couples
Very nice beach. Limited facilities.
A few seafood restaurants, and a 7/11.
Geared very much for Thais from Petchaburi town.
No bars, one coffee shop, and small resorts. Appears to be future development going on. Maybe good in 5 to 10 years.

Little beach a short distance north of the main Chao Samran strip
Apr 2018 • Friends
If you want to avoid the crowds at Chao Samran beach, then drive a short distance north until you reach Wat Samuttharam. The small beach is quiet and safe as it is protected by rock seawalls and is perfect for young children. There are some restaurants along the beach but some of them don't serve alcohol or even allow you to bring alcohol inside.

Interesting as a stop en route to/from Bangkok
Feb 2017
This appears to be a 'one horse town' when you first arrive, but get beneath the skin and a great deal happens here. There is an interesting temple, a museum built to house a whale carcass, and to the north of the town a temple decorated in white, lilac and mint green - very different. The beach is long and clean, although does have an incredible amount of fish and occasional jelly-fish washed up. The local authorities have a project to ensure people playing in the sea wear floatation jackets, so one can only imagine the current must be particularly strong. The locals are very happy to talk with visitors and there is a 'old style' Thailand atmosphere. A pretty place with great character.

Times are changing
May 2016 • Couples
This location is correctly know as Hat Chao Samran (or Had Chao Samran). It is located approx. 2 hours from Bangkok and 40mins from Phetchaburi City.
The village itself is on the coast with a fairly good beach. One of the good things about the place is it is very Thai with very few foreigners. During the weekends the population increases dramatically with Thais coming to enjoy the beach and life in general. Quite good Karaoke is performed in the centre of the village, by the beach.
Once you get to know the locals they are really friendly and helpful. The restaurants are limited in western food, but if you eat Thai or enjoy sea-food your laughing.
Unfortunately, over the last few years things are changing. It's no longer safe to walk around at night due to the dogs. The locals will tell you to watch out for various packs, but sadly do nothing about the escalating problem. Another problem is that although the beach in front of the village is cleaned every week, the rest of the beach is ignored. This and no street cleaners will deter many visitors.
It would be nice for the locals to get their act together.

Lovely quiet beach only a few hours from Bangkok
Aug 2016 • Couples
Having discovered this beach by accident, it is now our regular getaway when we need some fresh sea air away from the city. Have now visited several times over the past year. Some really good local restaurants serving a wide variety of Thai food, and a couple of beach bars to enjoy a cold beer as you watch the sun go down.
