Said to contain Buddha's ashes. Mmmm! He died two & half thousand years ago. Still worth a visit. Beautiful white building. Surrounded by cloister, full of statues of Buddha. Believe you can enter, if you fancy walking up all the steps.

Spectacular Wat in down town Phetchaburi. Definitely worth seeing. Phetchaburi is a great town to visit in Thailand to see something local and not too touristy.

Most visited by locals, this is the main temple in the city. The main part has 5 Buddha statues in gold which is pretty impressive. The walls the temple has many murals too. Behind the temple is this white old khmer pagoda style structure.

Amazing temple and kind people. Amazing crypt at the back showing Buddhas. A must see. We took our 9 and 6 year old and thought it was good. We also bought water animals to release into Phetchaburi river.
