My husband and I had been looking to book a Phi Phi boat trip for some time as we was having difficulty choosing as there were soo many companies to choose from! I finally stumbled across Semplice and noticed they had a company WhatsApp which was very handy, as I had a few questions to ask as we’re stating on coconut island in Phuket, which makes being collected slightly difficult. I had a response within 5-10 minutes of me sending over my questions, and they pointed me in the right direction of the right trip for us! We were still a little optimistic as the trip was very cheap, but we decided to go ahead as we’d seen they had some great reviews. And what an amazing day we had! Collection to and from our private port to the main port, beautiful lunch and drinks all day, a great team and crew on the board and everything was run professionally and smoothly. We couldn’t recommend this trip enough, we saw some truly beautiful sites.

We had a great day out, payed for an upgrade and had less people on our boat. The guide was not particularly friendly until the very end. But we had a great day anyway.

The place was great. The monkeys were adorable, and the kayak tour is a must. The tour guide, Johnnie, was quite worthless and provided us with minimal information. The driver was absolutely terrifying. Driving 120 in a 60 speed limit zone, with 12 tourist piled up in the van, is not cool!

We had limited time in Phuket and wanted to do a tour of the Phi Phi Islands and James Bond Island so when we saw that Semplice Tours offered a combined tour of both locations in one day we were thrilled and booked the tour. Our excitement of visiting both locations in one day and unfamiliarity with distance between the two locations overtook our rationality as we would later discover a combined tour of both locations is impossible!!
The interaction with tour company via email and website inquiry seemed on point and clear. We were required to provide a downpayment for booking the tour and then expected to pay the remaining balance at the dock with the tour operator.
The day of trip we were picked up from our hotel on time as previously instructed and taken to the tour operator's boat dock. Things started to go awry when we checked in for our tour and were asked if spoke Russian. As more and more people arrived it was clear that we were the only non-Russian speaking guests. We barely got on the boat with our assigned tour group as all the instructions were given in Russian and ultimately had to ask one of staff members what was going on when people started leaving for the boat docks. It was on the boat when they were calling roll that we found out through the Russian guide that we were on a tour of only the Phi Phi Islands. The guide told us it would be impossible to visit both James Bond Island and Phi Phi Islands through the use of google translator and one of the Thai boat crew members who spoke some English. Our Russian guide did call Semplice Tours about situation and all they could tell us was that we would complete our tour with this tour group. There was no apology or consolation for falsely advertising a tour that does not exist. They did not offer to refund the initial downpayment we were required to pay. We still had to pay the tour operator but thankfully it was lower than what Semplice Tours quoted as the remaining balance. When we got back to the dock things again became chaotic as it was unclear if we had transportation back to our hotel or if we would have to call a taxi. Thankfully they were able to secure us two seats on a charter bus headed back to the Patong area.
Even though the day was a complete disaster we still enjoyed the beauty of the Phi Phi Islands. The silver lining was that even though we were non-Russian speaking the Russian guide was accommodating and one of the Thai boat crew members spoke some English. It was only after I published this negative review on google that the company reached out to me but again did not offer any apology or refund for the initial downpayment and instead claimed the misbooking was my fault. I would never book with this tour agency in the future

What an amazing trip..very professional and value for money..the tour package cost is less compared to other companies..the speed boat staff, captain, tour guide were so friendly and humorous..They pick you up directly from the hotel in the morning in minivan to the pier and leave you back to your hotel on time..Everything is punctual and on point. Free soft drinks, water, melon, pineapple onboard makes you hydrated throughout the day.. A photographer comes along with you and captures moments which you can later opt to buy when you arrive back at the pier.. The overall experience was amazing.. You can blindly choose this one👍 #Semplice

We use this agency to organize 3 excursion James Bond island, Similan islands and a ride with the elephant and rafting. We found a perfect organization in some amazing place! With an agency always available and very kind.

Poor briefing presentation to 45+ people, too much noise & too many people in the room.. We paid 2200 baht and another couple paid 1500 for exactly the same trip. This is a rip off and unacceptable. not recommend this company to our friends.

We never had any problems with the quality tour from any previous customer.

Great way to see Phi Phi Lei and several other great spots if you are strapped for time. The lunch was great and boat is very fast and comfortable. The guide will definitely cheer up your day!

The journey time from hotel to Similan Island is quite long. We were staying at a hotel located at Patong Beach. We spent 1.5 hour going to Pier no. 4 from the hotel and took another 1.5 hour to the first island for snorkeling by speedboat. Luckily, we could see a troop of dolphins on the way to Similan Island.
I would give you an important advice that you must take antiemetic drugs at least 30 minutes before arriving the pier if you are prone to get motion sickness. Otherwise your dream cruise can become a nightmare.
