Another thrilling experience for teenagers and adults to try go-karting.
The entry fee is around 1k.

My teenage son enjoyed it.

Need to be careful of any injury to self or damage to the car for which heavy damage cost would be levied.

Fun for a 10 min spin. 10 mins from Patong beach and cost 800B for two seater. Deposit of 500B per driver and track is well maintained.

At first view we thought this was just another track like so many around the world. The service was pretty bad and the karts were very slow. On leaving we saw another track straight over the road but off the road about 100 metres. Thought it was probably the same people but turned out completely different! Great service, a choice of karts including some that were really fast, and a track that was genuinely challenging even for experienced drivers. Skip this and head straight over to the other track!

Go across the road to the other Go-Kart track. It's cheaper, and the karts are way faster - over 120km/h.

Don't waste your time or money on this go cart track!
We went and spent 10 minutes on the track and 30 minutes complaining! This place is located next to Tiger Kingdom!
After that we discovered another go carting track directly opposite this track on the other side of the road.
This track was fantastic! It's called Phuket Kart and has small karts of children, double seat carts and 100cc and the super fast 125cc karts!!

The kids enjoyed their (very short) time on the track but I felt it was very poor value for money. The staff were pretty unfriendly. And for those of us waiting in the pits they couldn't remember the wifi password.

Literally side-by-side to Tiger Kingdom so we just walked over. My 9 year old was excited yet scared by the possibility of driving/racing by himself for the very first time. The owners were equally scared as they did not want him to drive thinking he's too young (he's a smaller 9 year old but more than tall enough to reach both pedals).

Good option was to first do the two seater. I drove with child sitting in the back. The staff were very helpful and they suggested my 5 yr old sit 5 mins then 9 yr old sitting 5 mins. With the two seater you pay the same but only get 10 mins while single cars get 15 mins.

Both boys loved the experience and how safe it is depends on you, the driver. Older son felt confident enough to try himself and they had a staff saddle the car for one lap. He proved he could drive so they let him continue and he did a great job.

Staff were friendly and helpful.

Went there after visiting Tiger Kingdom (Just next door, side by side)
Only tried the Go-carts but not the dirt track buggies

THB850 per person per cart

Great track layout
Very responsive carts
Kids about 1.1m or 1.2m tall can ride their own carts
Smaller kids can ride with their parents or older siblings
Snack Bar
Video services available

As usual, just sharing....... cheers !

We took a chance of visiting the Go-Kart track during mixed weather on a recent Family Holiday to Phuket.

By the time we arrived it had just stopped raining, but the track seemed ok in most places to run the 15 minute session (1st time karting for my two boys)

Wow! Damp Track = brilliant fun sliding around!

Then the Heavens opened and we went off for lunch, with the saddening sound of staff saying "that's it for the day, the track will not dry out for a couple of days at least" :-( ringing in our ears.

Then the rain stopped, out came the Sun and a stiff breeze, so we decided to return to see if things had improved......Wow! almost fully dried out track = much better speeds, some hairy moments in some parts and LOADS more fun.

Friendly staff, great track, great fun! Highly recommend!

Read from TA that there are two circuits - Patong Go-Kart Speedway and Phuket Go-Kart. The former is just opposite Tiger Kingdom while the latter is nearer to Wat Suwan Khiriwong (Patong Temple). Browsing the images, I can’t really tell which is better though quite a number of reviewer seems to promote Phuket Kart. Further to that, some of the images are mixed up. Realized this only when I am doing the reviews. Some images I suspect, are from Phuket cause I don't recognize them at all. But anyways I ended up at Patong Go-Kart Speedway instead despite the 4/5 rating vs the 4.5/5 for Phuket Kart. Had my family of 9 there by 10.30am and yippee, we had the circuit all to ourselves. (opens at 10am) THB850 for 15 mins on a kart that can go up to 60 km/h. They even had a limited 30 km/h version for pre-teens, so my 10y.o. was super excited to get the chance to drive! Same price though. Very happy to see the state of the karts… it’s the safer version with all-round bumper and well-maintained! Engines are shining. Steering wheel is solid and not grimy. Helmet smells ok, no hint of sweat. Perhaps we are the first ones for the day? The circuit even had a pavilion for spectators. My elderly parents loved it… dad decided to be the track announcer on the spot! Guess what, we ended up going for two heats! It was that enjoyable! Track condition looks good… no potholes and clearly demarcated. There’s even a videographer to record the drive for posterity! If interested, it’s THB320 per DVD, and comes with times for each heats! Apparently, the track record is 31s! All said and driven, we truly enjoyed ourselves there!
