DO NOT GIVE ANY MORE MONEY TO PEOPLE WHO TORCHER ELEPHANTS!
Jun 2020
First know I am NOT an animal activist. I LOVE steak! However harvesting an animal for food and nourishment is something completely different then abusing an animal day after day for a buck.

The only way to improve this "experience" is to shut it down. I believe Tripadvisor needs to take this off their platform. Many people just purchase a ticket thinking they are going to a sanctuary which there is a REAL GOOD ONE just down the road. I thought this was affiliated. I was VERY WRONG and proud we didnt even walk inside.

If you do this, dont just continue on with your decision. You DO HAVE the ability NOT to get on this poor guys back. You have the ability not to watch an axe go into its head.

I have gone to two elephant sanctuaries in Thailand and they were AMAZING! They were loved and you could tell. I recommend going there

Nobody didn 't say that this show is duration 5 minutes...because 15 min is taking photo kids and elephant, also photo you must extra pay..
We paid 1800 THB for 2 adult ,1 teen.,1 child...no treking,no swimming with them.
Show is in small room ,elephant trying to play foodball, but just trying because any goal, also trying to play basketball, any goal, and try to hits baloon,he hits 2/6.. and dancing 2 3 minutes, and that is all ...
There is also 4 5 other elephant that you can treking, or you can fitting them with bannana that you must also buy....everything is dirty, they are hungry and poor...monkey also...poor animals...Close this!!!

Ugly, animal abusing place
Dec 2019 • Family
DO NOT think of going to this terrible animal abusing place they call a safari. The poor elephants are mistreated, abused and hit with a dagger on their heads until they bleed. Animal right activists in Thailand should really consider shutting this place down. We payed for 30 minutes, but we never finished the ugly tour and asked them to take us back. We were heart broken and in tears for the poor helpless animals.

Elephant camp
Oct 2019 • Friends
We went on a tour today hoping to see some beautiful elephants living in their natural habitat, I was absolutely horrified at what I saw. A baby elephant chained to a tree by its leg in a small pen. This elephant was clearly in trauma. Its eyes were rolling into the back of its head and very red it was swaying its head back and forth and also its trunk, it must have be exhausted in the heat. It was being fed mouldy bananas by tourists who had their photo taken with it. There was no water to be seen for them to keep cool or drink People were riding the bigger elephants who also looked so sad and in a depressed state. Further along the road were more elephants standing at the roadside, again, no water. This treatment needs to stop, please don't visit this place it's torture for these beautiful animals. This place is hell on earth and has to be closed down. God Bless those beautiful elephants.

PLEASE DON'T GO HERE!
Oct 2019 • Friends
My friend and I came here as part of a package day trip. It's an absolute disgrace that this is still happening in 2019.
The poor baby elephant chained to a tree clearly distressed and traumatised as it was displaying unnatural behaviour, swaying back and fourth and on its own in a very small space. These people should be ashamed of themselves for causing such pain to an innocent animal. Where are the organisations that protect animals in this country....or is everything based around money and greed!

THIS PLACE NEEDS TO SHUT DOWN!!!

They torture elephants with a pointy axe for no reason at all, we were already feeling sorry before we even got to ride the elephant. The elephant was obviously old and was struggling to walk down the tracks with bad knees but the driver kept hitting the elephants forehead with the axe. I could see the elephant in pain and distress. We were also in shock but the driver could not care any less. He only tried to see us some elephant souvenirs saying its made from elephants teeth not ivory, trying to emphasize how they care for the elephants,NOT. We feel so ashamed of taking this tour we would have never have done it if we only knew beforehand. Cant believe we paid to have the elephant treated so badly. Please dont do this tour the last thing they need is more money to continue with the business.

The only way to improve this ‘attraction’ is to close it down.

Don’t do this! We noticed before we got on the elephant that it had blood on its forehead. Five minutes into the ride we realized why. For no reason that we could see, the elephant handler smacked the poor animal on the head with a pick axe, when he stopped to water the elephant. The loud noise of the axe connecting with the elephant and the animals obvious distress had my daughter yelling to go back. The elephant handler seemed oblivious to everyone’s distress. This experience really put a damper on the day, and hours later my daughter is still very upset by what happened. I wish I had read the other reviews before we agreed on the spur of the moment to add an elephant ride to our trip to the Chalong Temple. In the same area they offer a monkey performance and no doubt those poor animals are just as badly treated. In the pictures the monkeys like the elephants are chained up. We did not stick around to find out.

Do the elephants a favour and give this a miss.

Please don't do that - horrible experience!

We spent about 50 $ per person to abuse and injure Elephants! They will tell you that they treat them well but it's a lie! They hit them with a pike until they are bleeding while walking. My girlfriend almost cried! I will never do that again doesn't matter which country on the world. Vist reservoirs where they treat them well and get a bath with happy elephants. Those elephants were so sad and moved their ears because of pain. Elpehant man was so unmotivated and didn't speak English. After we said him that we don't want to buy elephant teeth he was in addition more unmotivated. See the pictures where you can see the elephant bleeding and how they are chained.
