Elephant trekking wasn't too bad you go on a walk for a few minutes but not a joy ride through tropical environment. We booked and paid through a travel agent. The next day we get picked up and taken to the place. We were taken for a 15 minute ride on elephant back even though we paid for a 45 minute tour. Then the people pretend not to understand english - so frustrating. We then got stopped from the baby elephant show... More

I went with a few friends that wanted to ride a elephant although I didn't partake on the actual ride and waited for my friends to return the staff seemed nice. My friends on there return some what enjoyed the experience but was not at all what they expected and said they would not do it again

Good experience, relatively good price for the 30 min elephant trek. There were a lot of stops however, the handler was nice and hopped off the elephant to take some photos for us. Would recommend.

I did not enjoy riding elephants .because I think this is cruelty to the innocent animal .elephant driver sits on the elephant's neck with a sharp stick to his elephant head and neck and ears to guide him

Came here with some friends on our way back from Karon viewpoint. It was signposted as most things are in the area with "seaview". There were only four other people there and we decided to go on an elephant trek since there were no queues. The staff member who greeted us seemed nice (Thai people on the whole are wonderful... It's a funny one hour ride but not that impressive. Although the view is pretty nice. The elephant man was really nice with us but he kept asking for tips like everywhere in Phuket...

My husband and I stopped by on our way back from the big budda, as we were both considering elephant trekking, but after just looking for 5 minutes and seeing the way the animals were treated we both decided we would definitely not be trekking and left feeling numb. The baby elephant was chained to a pole at the front,... More
