Known as the most relaxing golf course in Phuket. Located in the centre of the island next to Red Mountain in Kathu District just 10 minutes from Phuket Town or Patong Beach the course nestles below a panoramic range of peaks, and is sandwiched between the Kathu Waterfalls and Kathu Village. The layout surrounds the largest lake on any golf course in Phuket, Crystal Lake, a massive 48 acres in size. This is an 18 hole, par 72, 6,555 yard, palm tree-lined beauty that has recently completed major re-designs and renovation upgrades.

One of my favorite

Still one of my favorite courses but a little beaten up at the moment. A lot of soggy fairways so ball is dying on fairways. Greens in good shape. Beautiful setting, plenty of... read more

As you see from the photos posted here it is not just a golf course it is the place to be when in Phuket. The whole 18 holes run around the lake. More than that you shoot on the driving range into the lake and afterwards you see brave Thai men in swimsuits getting the balls from the bottom. At... More

Still one of my favorite courses but a little beaten up at the moment. A lot of soggy fairways so ball is dying on fairways. Greens in good shape. Beautiful setting, plenty of water/beer stops with cold towels. Caddies are knowledgeable. Good selection of food.

Full disclosure I did not play well here but I did have a hole in one which made up for everything! Very solid championship course with plenty of variety and a lovely lakeside location. From the back it's long....The course was in very nice shape and the staff very friendly!

This course is not value for money in its current condition. Too much rain has turned it into a mickey mouse course with plugged balls everywhere including the fairways!!! 1st hole; tee shot lost on the fairway ball plugged 2nd hole; ditto 3rd hole; ball plugged but found 4th hole; hit the green or lose your ball in water (par... I am used to golfing Bangkok two or three times a week at many different courses. When compared to Bangkok considering the condition and lay out of the course the price was extremely excessive. The course is in fair condition, plenty of nice views, I am glad I played it once.

Lovely course and well maintained. Beautiful views. Not the most demanding of courses but ideal for a nice round with friends. Caddies and all staff very helpful and nice shop. All in all very pleasurable.

Just played here this afternoon and we were fortunate to be able to almost complete 18 holes before the rain came. Understand from locals that it has been raining in Phuket almost everyday. The course is very well maintained except that it's a bit soggy and the balls get plugged in quite often. The greens are slower than we what... More

A good golf club with 2 different golf courses (Loch Palm and Red Mountain). I have only tried Loch Palm but will definitely go back to try Red Mountain. Good quality course with some nice holes for photo souvenirs. The course tends to be busy on weekends so book early in advance. Better to play 4 balls, as if 2... More

Decent golf course but quite pricy and a substantial amount of old westerners who seems to find it more important to flirt with the caddies than playing golf. As I was here with my young kids - not really the right golf course due tithe aforementioned incidents and was told could not make a stop over after first 9 holes... More
