Not impressive at all
Let me start by saying I did not stay at this hotel but I visited it 3 times as is was close to my hotel, Royal Paradise Hotel and Spa. My first visit I wanted to find out about their massages and was greeted at their front desk by someone who could barely speak English and had very poor customer service skills. I asked about their massage and he took me across the covered alley/shopping arcade to a massage place and after much confusion it turned out he took me to another business because the hotel's massages do not start until 3:00pm, this had to be translated by the massage therapist he brought me to. I left without getting any information about massages at Aquarius and I was not looking to get a massage right away but later that evening. The second time I went to Aquarius they were able to find me someone who could sell me a day pass for their clothing optional sundeck, Jacuzzi, steam, and sauna and then I was going to get a massage after using the facilities. This place has no elevator and the steps on the stairs are very steep and shallow, the back of my foot hung off the step when going up or down the stairs. It was 5 sets of stairs to get to the top deck and the Jacuzzi had cold water and the deck was poorly maintained. If you want to sunbathe in the nude you can be fully seen by the towering hotel nearby, The Royal Paradise Hotel and Spa because I stayed there and could see naked guys from our room. They allow smoking in a certain section of a hallway that is fully inside the hotel, I was choking as I walked by and you could not avoid it. The steam room was a maze and was so dark you could not see, the sauna was small, and the indoor Jacuzzi was also cold water. Not impressive at all. I walked up and down those steep stairs so many times. The pool was in the lobby and not impressive at all, also you need a swimsuit for the pool. There were major renovations going on ground floor near the pool. I did not get a massage this day. The following month I was staying at the Thavorn Beach Village and took their free shuttle in to Patong and decided to get a massage but my usually massage therapists were not working yet, it was before noon and I have 5 hours to wait before the next free shuttle went back to the hotel. I went to Aquarius one last time to give them another chance and try the day pass again but was instead greeted by the rude front desk guy from my first visit, of course he could not understand me so I politely asked if someone else there who speaks English could help me and he said rudely "No one speaks English here." I said the owners of this hotel speak English and he just giggled. I understand this is Thailand but when you have a hotel that is catering to gay men from places like Australia, Europe, and the United States you really need someone who can communicate with clients, especially at the front desk. You are in business to make money and you cannot make money when a customer is trying to use your services but they refuse to help them and send them away. I am disgusted by this place, I almost booked to stay there and so glad I did not. My fiance has very bad knees and he would not be able to go up and done stairs, especially the steep stairs with shallow steps in this place. I have stayed at countless gay hotels in my life and I have never seen anything this bad and service this horrible. Do not stay here or use their other services.

Second Happy Visit
Jul 2018 • Couples
Returned to this relaxed hotel this year, and enjoyed every day. The staff are relaxed, always helpful, and even arranged a surprize on my birthday..
Thanks again everyone for making us feel welcome and part of the family!

Dirty place ever
I went to Aquarius only for gym and sauna ... it is very dirty place. I do not have many words to say about this place ... everything is old broken and dirty as picture that I attach. the entrance fee of Babylon Bangkok is less than dell'Acquarius

Home away from home

I stayed here for a couple of weeks earlier this year, Thank you Paul and your friendly staff for looking after me, no complaints there, but the room, although comfortable enough, was dew for an update, the furnishings all very tired, and the room i had,No301 was a little noisy but on the whole a great stay, again thanks Paul and the boys. A Lot of money
I went there on the 24th of October 2012, entrance fees was fair, just 35 Turkish Currency, staff were so friendly, but I've noticed that there was only few guys are staff but many others are money hunters, even the staff them selfs are money hunters, you'll be surrounded with many lads are asking you for massage, and when you ask about the fees it's 100 Turkish Currency for normal massage and 200 for sexual massage, I chose regular massage, it was only 14 minutes massage for the TRL100, the next day I went there and the same guy asked me if I want massage again I told him of course not, you cheated me last night and gave me 14 minutes for 100 TRL, there was a guy setting there and understanding English, he told me you are right, he cheated you, usually a 100 TRL for 45 minutes massage
Place is so cozy, Sauna is so good, towels are so terrible, staff hardly speak English but they mostly understand

Worse than a Tsunami
This place is a disgrace. It was the worst gay venue I have been to.The reception staff were very rude with a take it or leave it attitude. They are probably llike that because there is only one gay sauna in the area. I would not recommend this place. The sauna was dirty and uninviting compared with any in the world. Phuket is in need of a good gay sauna. Gay people tend to AVOID Phuket because of the lack of good facilities. Straight people are more accepting of this low standard in venues. All the gay money is going to Bangkok and other cities.
