I arrived thinking I'd be strapped into a ball and shoved down a hill.. I was wrong.
Bring a change of clothes because you're going to get pretty wet, in fact, soaked. There are changing rooms/toilets.
It's expensive enough, and you're best doing a few rolls rather than just one expensive roll.
You're in a ball with a few buckets of water and thrown around.. but you won't be upside down or anything. You're just sliding around the ball.
You get free t-shirts, drinks and a few other things.
If you get a taxi here, they're likely to wait because you'll not spend a lot of time here. They're likely to try convince you to go to a bungee jump 15 minutes away - I wish I didn't but we were in a rush!

WHAT I LIKED: Fun, really fun. (This was probably one of the most fun things I have ever done.) Perfect for ages 2 and up (and maybe even less than that). Plan on doing it at least 2 times; my kids did it 6 times. Good option for a sunny or rainy day; they are open regardless. Very safe too, even by western standards. Run by a safe and thorough crew.
WHAT I DIDN'T LIKE: The packages are for 1,2, or 6 trips….a package of 3 or 4 would be nice. It is not a convenient location, but our driver found it. Just provide him the telephone number.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW: If you are new to this, this is how it works: they put a few buckets of water inside the ball with you. This allows you to ‘glide’ inside the ball as it rolls down the hill. It is not rough, but like a smooth and unpredictable roller coaster. Hotels will act clueless when you ask; they don't get a commission. You will have to arrange your own transportation. Wear a swim suit, this is a water ride. Call ahead to make sure they are not too busy. We did not have this problem but this is still an unknown attraction by most people.
Also, lay on the track at least once when another group is going and let the zorb go over you. This was my kid’s favorite activity in Phuket! (This is a good stop after the Tiger Kingdom, if you do that first thing in the morning.) One of the guys even offered to take pictures for us with my camera, and they were great! If we make it back to Phuket, we will be back here! (And probably twice!)

This was one of the best activities and such a great time.
At first I was a little nervous as I have back issues and didn't want to be thrown around. The man at the counter said we can buy one round and if we like it pay the difference for a bigger package. After our first go, we were hooked! Definately go for the bigger package, it's worth it and you'll have such a blast. You basically sit (or try stand) and roll down the hill with water slushing around. You won't be upside down or anything and even little kids can do this. You also get ice cream, photo, a free shirt and drinks afterwards which was a great bonus. It was around 200b from patong to the zorb place and they gave us a free lift home.
It was empty when we arrived (around 2pm) but after our last go people started coming in.
Thank you for the great day, the staff were exceptional aswell. We will definately be back and recommend to everyone visiting!

I took my four children to this attraction. The website advertises Program C for 1950 Thai Bhat for 6 rolls, a free drink, free chips/fruit and a photograph. After paying for that we were told that if three kids were in the one roller ball that equals three rolls - not great value for money. The music bleating in the background, at times, was full of four letter expletives (excellent for my 8 year old daughter’s vocabulary). After the kids had completed their rolls we were told that the website advertising is old and chips and fruit were no longer served / available. A scoop of ice cream (choice of three flavours) and a drink (choice of two soft drinks) were provided as was a photograph which was substandard due to streaks across the photograph (an obvious issue with the printer). Whilst the kids had fun, and the staff were nice, this attraction represents the worst value for money I’ve encountered anywhere anytime. But let me guess... it’s all to do with overheads (nonsense) and currency exchange rates (please!). Owners need to get a grip on reality, stop making excuses, and invest in correct advertising and better value for money for families. Avoid unless you’ve won lotto!

Ok activity BUT WAY TOO EXPENSIVE. They don't advertise a price so they can screw you for as high a charge as they think they can get away with,.

Hi there 8daysaweek. Thank you for coming to Rollerball to try our activity, i am happy that you found it satisfactory, many other of our guests have found Zorbing at Rollerball to be a fantastic activity.
Please remember to tell your kids they are able to tag themselves free on our facebook page.
I can only apologize if you found Zorbing to be expensive but do feel it important to point out, that had you tried this activity previously in your homeland country of Australia, then I hope you would have found Rollerball to be fantastic value in comparison, luckily in Thailand, day to day business running costs are a great deal less expensive which is why we are able to offer zorbing for such a fantastically low rate.
In relation to pricing information, we advertise all our prices on our website, if you look on our webpage you will see the choice of 3 packages, which are (a) Single roll - 950 baht (b) Double roll - 1350 baht (c) 6 Ball roll - 1950 baht.
In addition to this and for the benefit of those customers who have not read our website, we do have a very very simple easy to understand pricing menu which we present to all visiting customers whether they have pre-booked, come in a taxi, or driven themselves.
The menu format includes straightforward picture examples in the same way as safety cards in Airplanes. We find this necessary for us as a company to be very clear on pricing as many of our guests do not use English as a first or even a second language.
If you missed our pricing menu, then I apologize, if you didn’t understand the menu, then ok, I again apologize and will be happy to make it more simpler to understand, however, if you are insinuating that we deliberately trying to mislead our customers to as you put it “screw over” and charge a high price, then that is simply untrue.
If this were the case, we would not have such a high ranking as we do, and I would have not spent nearly 2 hours writing what I consider to be a very restrained response.
Therefore and with respect, I cannot agree with your comments to lack of clarity and find your comments in relation to screwing to be a very unfair reflection of what we do at Rollerball.
If you would like to discuss this matter with me personally, then my mobile number is +66 817 876055
Sincerely
Alex Robinson

I emailed this company from England to enquire about booking excursion. Received email back asking me to call Robert and they provided me with 2contact numbers. We arrived at destination and after couple days asked hotel to call Robert to enquire as to cost of transfer from Bang Tao to Patong. Hotel reception was told Robert would call her back which didn't happen. Reception called again and was told they where too busy and would call back and again no call. So I emailed again to try and arrange booking and received no reply. Very disappointing.

It was one of many attractions we have tried in Phuket, we have rolled down (twice) together with my husband, we have spent our last money on it and the only thing I regret is that i did not go there earlier and do it couple more times. The owner is looking after you wery well asd as I remember some drinks and ice cream are included to chill down a bit after the ride.
The place is laid up the hill (obwiously) so if you are bit lazy and not planning an extra workout it is better if you get the taxi to take you there (tuk tuk ;). Two roads but we did not get to choose, we went on the bumpy one but I believe it was for our safety - two of us in one ball filled with some water we would go down to fast if on a straight one, you can always ask the staff if not sure, we did not care. best experience ever. Strongly reccomend for fun seekers.

My partner and I went today and had so much fun. We started off with 1 roll and then upgraded to 6 rolls as its very funny.
Recommend doing 2 people in one ball as you have more fun getting pushed around together.
Will recommend to friends comic over.
If you have fun, who really cares how much it is. You are on holidays, live a little.

It was my first time going on the rollerball, it was exciting and we couldnt decide how many times we wanted to go on the rollerball. The staff there told us to pay for 1 ball first and subsequently if we like it, we could pay the difference.
Free t-shirt and free drinks as well.
I thought that they provided a camera or a GoPro so I could take a video of how it was during the ride, however there was none available so that was the downside of the experience.
Anyhow, I enjoyed myself and the staff there were all very friendly and smiley.

We were greeted by the friendly staff upon reaching and they explained what to expect out of the whole roller ball experience. They have 2 courses (1 speed, 1 bumpy). My boyfriend and I chose bumpy course for the 2 rolls that we did and we had a good laugh. You will definitely get all wet so do remember to bring extra set of clothing.
I recommend to do it with a partner as its twice as fun to have somebody in the same ball as you. Overall experience was great and I would definitely recommend all to try when you visit Phuket.
Oh, one last thing, I wouldn't recommend you doing this activity right after you have your breakfast/lunch as its a lot of rolling around, so you might get nauseous.

So the opening for the sorb ball looks a little small. I’m a bit chubby. Will I even get in the ball?
Written October 18, 2017
I have not seen any one who can not get in or out.

I have 4 years old daughter, is she able to use it with me?
Written March 23, 2017
As there will be water inside the ball (to lessen friction), both will be wearing a life jacket.
I don't remember seeing an age or height restriction but once inside the ball, you will be sliding up down left right.
For safety and in my own opinion, height above 110cm is recommended.
Cheers

950 baht for 1 roll is it for 1 person or 2 person?
Written November 20, 2016
1 roll, 1 person, two can go in at a time, but that's 2 rolls!
Best value was the six rolls! we spent about an hour and half to two hours, but we were the only people there! each rolls lasts for about one and a half minutes, then they load up the ball on a trailer and bring you back up. They had two balls going, one on each track. Not sure if they had more balls, but they were pretty quick at getting them back up.
Written November 23, 2016
Yes very popular on rainy day! WithRollerball you will get wet anyway so rain does not affect the business.
Written July 9, 2016
It opens at around 0830 am, normally not very rush, so you an enjoy as many as rounds you want. Second round onwards the cost reduces...enjoy
Written April 16, 2016
I'm pretty sure it was 1350 Thai baht and you get a photo , drink and ice cream. If you get six rolls you get a tshirt as well.
Written November 4, 2015
Approximately how long does it take for 6 rolls (Package C) and till what time is the activity open?
Written April 3, 2015
Each roll takes approximately the same time as a bungy jump. From start to finish can take as quick as 7 minutes or as long as 15 minutes. If you are waiting whilst we are taking care of other customers, you are more than welcome to get involved, try the planking or just appreciate the view.
