Smelly street and ugly women. No quality, bad service and walking with their calculator after their customers - no charm - money scam

Off course when you are in Patong, you have to take a stroll along this well known street!
It’s not for everyone… but sure for someone!🤪😉

Slowly coming back to life, but there are still quite a few abandoned or moth-balled shops and bars. It was definitely not busy for the second half of December, more like low season September or October busy. Still enough life to make a cold beer or three while watching life go past entertaining. One thing I didn't like, though, was the way that the ladyboys have become real pests later in the evening. The Patong tuk tuk mafia has been a fixture since before Bangla Road was a walking street in the evening and they will still try to get a ridiculously high fare if they can get away with it.

It's like the worst part of Mardi Gras, but with actual prostitution. I couldn't even walk down the street without having somebody try to drag me into some place.

Still pretty quiet at night but there were people walking up and down the street. There were enough places open to find what you like but not enough customers to make it fun.

I love Phuket, and Thailand. Due to Covid, this was our first trip in 2+ years. So so sorry for Thai people in tourism. The place was dead. Nothing opened at all during the day. Nothing. There were a number of shops getting remodeled and looking like opening soon, but some places had huge cobwebs and was completely dead. Even McDonalds was closed. I thought the island would be quiet, but at least this busy central hub would be mainly open. I hope it comes back soon.

This road seems to be more fun when there is a crowd however due to covid restrictions it has become like any other road. Very fewer people and seems to almost go quiet at midnight.

Only a few bars are open but with little to no customers. Most restaurants/bars have completely closed.

It was my first time there and was disappointed . Hopefully when things start opening up and the restrictions lessen for people to travel, it will be more fun I guess.

Bangla Road is Phuket's most important night street. There are various discos all over the street, which are alive all night. This street is very deserted during the day. At the end of this street is Patong Beach. There are many different, disco, bars, cafes and restaurants around this Walking Street. This is a nightlife party for all travelers .Bars and pubs have different music. In front of most of them, a number of girls dance on the tables to attract more customers. This is not a good environment for children. If you love nightlife, this is the best place to see this street!

A few bars serving drinks in coffee cups or plastic glasses due to the "No alcohol" policy. Coppers looking the other way.
