CAFE Baan Mae, a garden-style cat cafe @Pathum Thani
Feb 2021 • Friends
🐈 A cafe full of various trees There is a corner to sit and eat in Khantoke style or chill in the garden. Walk to stop and take photos with macaws. Or walk up to the mezzanine to take pictures with beautiful backdrops. Cat line must scream with the cuteness of many breeds of cats. The shop has both food and drink service. Thai desserts are also available.

Meditation at POP House
Jan 2016
I am Kosal from Cambodia. I have been travel and find meditation retreat every where since I have found this one, which is amazing. Staff are so friendly well speaking English. Meditation course is amazing with great detail of instruction along with stunning views of nature there. I am highly recommended for anyone who like to try a meditation.

Need to See for Yourself ☺

Why I choose this title? Because, I just read (with all due respect) the review allegedly written in 2014 by a Doctor from Japan. The reviewer begins by admitting to not even have personally visited the facility, but apparently formed his/her negative opinion and decision to not attend based on some other "information". I am so thankful that I did not let that review influence my decision to attend. If you haven't already read it, I suggest reading "The Art of Clear Thinking". Sorry, but can not remember authors' name but Im guessing Dr. Ari Flescher... Amazon.

Back to The Middle Way and POP House. Without a doubt, one of top 5 best experiences Ive had during this lifetime, and as a globe trekker, that is saying a lot! From the moment you arrive at this pristine and serene oasis surrounded by nature and the most peaceful and friendly people you will ever been fortunate to have met, you will know you are in the right place.

I could write volumes about how amazing and truly wonderful this place is and the knowledge you will take with you, but I won't (I want to begin my morning meditation now). I will close with another observation. As I shared with my wonderful room mate and new friend, as a traveler I NEVER EVER leave my passport and wallet not secured. They are always either on my person OR locked in a safe. No exceptions. Until this retreat. Your room will have a lock on the door knob, but you will not need or want to use it. While there , I never for even a split second, gave a passing thought to my personal belongings.

Please, if you have any questions whatsoever about The Middle Way or POP House, please do not hesitate to contact me. I wish you peace.

At POP House I had one of the most amazing spiritual experiences in my life. The staff is very helpful, kind and informative. They answered with a smiling face even to the most ridiculous questions. They offer an introductory course in meditation which is held by monks who speak English. The meditation practice is quite flexible so it suits both beginners and advanced meditators. I highly recommend it to beginners though.
I met lovely people at this place and there's no one bad thing that I can say about them.

The most amazing experience
Jan 2014
I visited pop house at the start of this year. I don't have a lot of money, so could not possess the fear that anybody would steal from me. We ate with the monks, shared my dorm with some scientist and were fortunate enough to visit a ceremony with all the monks in the region. I would highly recommend anyone to visit this magical place.
