A welcome break and time to stretch the legs during a long drive of twisting and winding roads. It is said you can see 9 mountains from this viewpoint and although I didn’t count them it certainly has impressive views none the less. A mountainous region and the day we were there the visibility was very good and the scenery spread out before us for a long way, lots of people taking pictures! Not just a 180 degree view but 360 as you’re at the top with the vistas making a very good talking point of which way you are going and where will you end up! If you have a look at my pics you will see some of the road which was in front of us which is common for long distances in this area, steep roads including U-turns which either rise or fall beneath you. You have to stop here and I hope you get the views we did. A very good viewpoint which not only shows you where you have come from, but where you are going also.

This view point is on the top of the first mountain on the way from Pai to Mae Hong Son. It has 360 degree views across the mountains and valleys below. The day I was there it was very misty and cloudy in the valleys but this just added to the beauty of this viewpoint. As we drove up the windy mountainous road it was like we were flying through clouds. There were a few stalls there where you could buy souvenirs and snacks. Definitely worth a stop and a great place to take photos.

It is the highest point of the route 1095 from Pai to Pang Ma Pha. It is a viewpoint of Pai & Pang Ma Pha district. There are toilets there (not clean). We went there late Feb. When we reached there (late morning), it was very cloudy. Couldn't see any view at the viewpoint. But once we went down few kms, it was very clear.

If you are driving North in Mae Hong Song, stop here and take in the beautiful views. There are a view stalls and refreshments too. The left side of the road in particular has stunning views to the northern mountains.

Nothing special, just like so many viewpoints along the roads when travelling in the areas, Pai, Mae Hong Son etc. The views are spectacular regardless of the selected viewpoints.

Nice place just to stop for a toilet break and eat some hot sweet potatoes or northern style sausages.

This is the viewpoint for either sunrise or sunset and is windy. It is advisable to take along a wind breaker just in case. The view is stunning as the entire valley is right in front of you.

The road is comparably good to Kiew Lom. I arrived at there around 7am. The mist and the sunshine made a perfect fairy environment. There were not many people but some vendors sell hot food there in the cold weather which is really helpful. It is a place you can't miss when you travel to Pai
