Not really my sort of day out but...

Be warned this is a near 1 hour trip by speed boat. Our boat held about 26 inside the boat and another 6 outside on the front of the boat (with room for maybe 10 more). There is a... read more

This would be beautiful if you could go when no one is there. Unfortunately it is overcrowded and noisy and therefore it pollutes such a wonderful island. Go if you really want but expect this. It's paradise when left untouched

Be warned this is a near 1 hour trip by speed boat. Our boat held about 26 inside the boat and another 6 outside on the front of the boat (with room for maybe 10 more). There is a lot to see and a lot to take in. Our tour meant a bit of swimming a lot of riding in... More

Phi phi island can be reached by boat from Krabi Island and I had once travelled form Phuket too. On they way to the island you can ask your boatman to let you do a bit of scuba diving halfway through because that area has some very beautiful fish colonies! You will also see some limestone hills. Do visit the... More

Well something for all ages, we are in our 50's and found the place great for a night. Booked a hotel and travelled by ferry from Krabi. Loads to do and plenty to see.

It amazes me that people flock to these islands because of the film 'The Beach' - mainly because the movie was sub-par, and there are so many other islands around the world that don't have the problems Phi Phi now faces. Make no mistake, this is tourist hell. Maya beach was probably nice 20 years ago, now it's just 5000... More

We booked a full day with this company. The morning trip was good, we saw a nice reef and we went to the mosquito island. The afternoon part was terrible, 27 people on one small long tail boat, the guide changed the route and plan all the time. Snorkling mask woudn't desinfected after using, they just swapped. For the jump... More

Better than Similan islands if you're gonna compare. Beaches and water was perfect. Very clean and tranquil blue waters. Too bad there were a lot of people when I was there. Would've been better if we had some quiet time to ourselves on the beach. But overall it was awesome! Snorkeling was great too. Not a very long boat ride... More

We did a daytrip with ours 6 months old baby. In an A/C cruiseboat with a small number of stops it was really enjoyable. Wonderful scenarios and warm water what else you could ask for?
