I was there more than 10 years ago. just after massive tsunami. every artifact was washed out. extremely calm and peaceful. only me and my girlfriend. 10 years after, that girl is gone. but memory still remain as the most beautiful place in world.

I travelled by long boat from Krabi and it was so exciting. We travelled around the islands which in itself was truly remarkable. Monkey island was a big point of interest before we arrived at Phi phi island, truly magical with its high cliffs and aqua marine waters. The only criticism was the huge amount of tourist on the beach... More

So you grew up watching The Beach with young Leo and a pretty girl going into the unknown? Yes, this is that place. The serene sands that will really soothe you from inside out. Please plan a stay over of atleast a day or 2 to really enjoy this wonder of nature. Getting here from Aonang was great by ferry.... More

If you are looking for a peaceful day, this is not the place to go. The beach after about 10AM is worthless with too many people to comfortably sit down. Photos are a waste as the background is 10 other people taking photos. Bamboo island much better.

The island provides exotic views with mountains, rocks and pristine waters. Snorkeling was awesome with coral and colorful fishes.

We visited Phi Phi as a short two night stop on the way to Krabi. We weren't too sure what to expect as the more we spoke to people the more we realised it was wilder than we anticipated. We stayed in Tonsai as it was nearest to the port for our ferry out. There were loads of shops and... More

People will hated it or liked it. I think it will depend on the maner you choose to see those Island. For me, I took a speed boat tour, yes it was crowded but it was surely the most beautiful scenery I have seen in all Krabi Province. I wise tips is to charter a longtaill boat and organise the... Busy with tourists, tattoo shops, buckets etc. Not really our scene, but one of the most stunning parts of Thailand. We went snorkeling on a day trip and it was absolutely stunning!
