If you want an 18-30 style party town then crack on, but if you are looking for a beautiful and traditional island then go to Koh Tao. Better weather and more a chilled atmosphere. Banging music until 2am is not what I expected or how it was sold. I asked one of the touts what was good to do and... More

Very beautiful place but as most of part of Thailand, the infra structure is very poor. I worried about it because probably in a few years, the polution will be a big issue at the island. The sewage flow directly to the ocean.

We visited phi phi island on 23rd of September 2016 by speed boat with at least 40 people. The tour leader and his assistant very aggressive and unhelpful. When we booked the trip we were warned that sea at this time may be rough with large wave. The tour was too packed. The Maya bay was overcrowded with at least... More

Im been living in Thailand 4 years, visited Phi Phi several times, this last one was a complete mess. Maya bay full of boats,my first times there was no boats, you have to go swimming and cross the island walking to reach the beach, now is full of loudy Chinese people and 50 boats. No more nice pictures there. Then the most disgusting... More

This review is a bit dated as I went to Krabi in June2016. This is not a review of any beach or location but a generic rant. I travelled with wife and two kids. On arriving, went straight to Ao Nang beach, asked several tour operators to try to figure out rates and places to go. Booked two tours -... More

My wife and I stayed on Phi Phi Don for three nights. There are no motor vehicles, except for the police. One uses walk ways which are about 8ft wide stretching over many kilometers. There are hundreds of shops, restaurants, rental agencies, tour groups, even a mobil phone company, P-Mobil. We spent hour and hours walking and simply enjoying ourselves.... More

The phi phi tour is a scam, they didn't notice us about the weather in rainy season. The tour within a day is too quick, nobody can do sightseeing or at least relax. All boat was sick to death, the island is similar as any islands in South Pacific. Avoid expensive speed boat, it is a scam. You should take... More

i actually felt short for words writing this review, we took full day tour in a big boat, just one regret that we couldnt see maya beach because of big boat as big boats dont take you on maya beach, but again i suggest to take this tour by big boat if you are going with family as it takes... More

It is like God wanted to provide a sample of how would Heaven look like. Amazing sand, amazing beaches, amazing water you just cannot believe your eyes. These are the 'superstar' islands of Thailand. People are also very very nice and would do anything for your comfort.
