Great experience and a lot of food
Mar 2020 • Couples
We took the class and it was just the two of us.
We choose the dishes and cooked everything. We ate a lot... And we got the curry and other main as a take away home for diner so that was great. We really enjoyed the experience. The cook explained all the different ingredients and everything was well prepared. We had nothing to worry about but enjoy

Fantastic and delicious experience!
Jan 2020
Absolutely loved this experience, it went beyond our expectations! They picked us up at the hotel, drove us to a quaint open kitchen surrounded by a beautiful garden and let us select several Thai dishes to cook. Our master chef took time to explain to us all of the ingredients and go through the recipes and guide us through the chopping and actual cooking. Everything tasted delicious! Make sure you go hungry as there is a lot of food. By the end of the course you get a recipe book to take home. Do not miss out on this experience!!

Brilliant birthday present
Dec 2018
Booked this cookery course for my husband for his birthday. We travelled by cab (my daughter and I) along with 1 other 'chef' that had ben picked up from his hotel en route. There were only 2 of them cooking so there was plenty of one to one time with the teacher. The ingredients were laid out well and the dishes were explained and at every stage. The kitchen is set in an outdoor space and so there is lots of ventilation - it was very hot even though it was evening time. My husband chose several dishes to make and we could each try them at the end; there was so much food. Luckily the other 'chef' liked more ild food and so did my daughter, but we like spicy food - so it was a win win! There was more than enough food to take home too. My husband got a cook book at then and we've used it many times. You can also purchase aprons, etc. Well worth it.

Great experience.

It is low season and somewhat to our benefit the class was just the 3 (2 adults +1 child) of us. Our child spectated n was our additional photographer & food taster.

Pick up at hotel in Ao Nang was punctual and within 10min, we were at their cooking school.

When booking you had to pre- select from a menu of dishes to cook. The course gave you 6 local dishes to cook from 25+ choices. The place was clean and our cooking teacher was Pin, a pleasant but firm teacher. Her English was quite good (for a local). She did well to simplify and explain the ingredients, cooking process and occasionally stopping to take photos of us.

Needless to say the food we cooked was yummy but I'd say it was down to her recipes (which is all provided in a booklet you keep) that did the trick.

Highly recommended.

The best!

Honestly such an amazing experience. My friend and I wanted to learn to cook Thai food and couldn’t be happier with the time we had. The owners/instructors were so sweet to us and made sure we understood everything. The amount of food we made/ate was much more than expected, so make sure you go hungry!

We had a great Time! Family of 5 ( 4 adults and 1 child) Siam runs a very good cooking class. We cooked 6 dishes, learned how to cook basic Thai food, Great teacher and assistant. The food was fresh ( veg, chicken, prawns)
Siam Has a very good sense of humour. Defiantly will recommend.

If you love learning to cook different foods this is the place to go to learn to cook Thai food. The whole experience was excellent. The lady teaching was great even if her English language was limited. She explained the ingredients and showed us how to use them. Then you eat what you cook. I was amazed how easy it was. At the end you also get a recipe book to take home. 100% recommend going to the cookery school.

Fun, simple and tasty thai food cooked by myself!
Mar 2017 • Friends
we book a pm class and Pink pick us up punctually at 12pm. as someone who has never cooked at home before, I was able to cook 5+1 dishes with no problem at all, and the food cooked was tasty! Instructions by instructor Pink was patient and clear and she is always there to assist if you get any problem cooking. She also gave us a lesson on the thai ingredients before our class. Each of us get to choose what we wanna cooked from a menu list, except for dessert (we chose mango sticky rice) which is the common dish for the 2 of us. With 5 food items each, so that makes it 11 dishes in total for the 2 of us (we chose pad thai, seafood fried rice, green curry, red curry, papaya salad, seafood salad, chicken with cashew nut, ginger chicken, coconut milk chicken soup etc). Cooking each dish is less than 10 mins. You get to eat after you cook every 2 dishes, at a big dining table, as if you are in a restaurant. The cooking class environment is very clean and woks are washed and dried for you after each dish cooked. The ingredients used were fresh and the prawns fresh/chicken were very tender. I love the green curry I made myself the best. you can taste the green chilli freshness! Save your tummy.. we couldn't finish the food by the last course! after the class, you get a recipe book and a certificate in passing the course haha! we requested to take a pic with our instructor Pink, and she suggested us to hold the wok and pans to pose for the pic. haha. told me their cooking school has been around for more than 15 years. I cant wait to try out the cooking back home . overall it was good fun trip for us to spend our time in krabi. strongly recommended

Thai food by my own at last!
Oct 2016 • Couples
It was very good class conducted by Yok, the owner. We were picked up from the hotel to the class . It takes 4 hours . We chosed from 13to 17PM - afternoon class. Yok runs it very efficiently and provides a lot of information on Thai cuisine. We prepared 5 dishes each with Yok's guideness , and than the finalle dissert with local banana. All was delhicious ! We enjoyed the cooking and good company of other travelers from Brasil and England. What is most important that Yok explains about local plants , row materials, special souces, that we were not aware of and our earlier efforts to prepare the same dish at home ended always with different taste. Today at home we already enjoyed the results of the class and our green papaya salad was much better ! Run for it !

Excellent cookery course
Mar 2016 • Couples
We visited Siam cuisine in March for an evening cookery course - picked up at 3.45 and dropped off again at 8pm. There was only one other couple on our course so we all had lots of time with the teacher for questions. You get to choose from a lot of dishes to make and you can change them as you like. In the end we made about 14 dishes between us, all of which were very tasty. Don't eat before you go! You also get a cook book to take away so that you can recreate the dishes at home.

Would definitely recommend.
