First of all, let me tell you how we lucked upon finding this company. I was on Trip Advisor looking for information on the upcoming storm that was about to happen and I noticed a local commented to ease people's fear and I thought that was so kind and i saw he was with Phuket Sail Tours so I quickly looked them up and sent them a mesas via FB messenger and Capt Mark replied promptly. Further communication to set up the tour was fantastic. The day of our trip, we were picked up promptly be a kind driver and delivered to the peer in Ao Nang (we did the tour from Krabi) where we met our guide Wray. We were lucky in that our group was the only group on the tour that day so we were very spoiled. Wray pointed out things along the way, carried our bags for us and offered us drinks all day long. When we got to our lunch spot on Phi Phi, he told us where to find a clean restroom and where to grab a drink and wait for lunch on the beach (though I know not provided by PST, the lunch was excellent). We were able to tailor our tour a bit since it was just our group (we skipped a snorkel spot for some more beach time). It was well worth it to spend more for such personalized attention. We did go to a smaller more secluded beach on Bamboo Island, but worth it to not be surrounded by 300 other people. Would recommend PST for anyone in Phuket or Krabi.

PST has proven yet again as my best and only option for Phuket and Krabi island and snorkeling tours. Captain Mark and Sam deliver the best quality experience to guests ensuring they leave with lasting memories. Sam is an excellent tour guide, diver and underwater videographer. I will certainly be back again and highly recommend their services to visitors on Krabi and Phuket. Simply amazing!

I wanted to stay in AoNang Beach but tour Phang Nga Bay with a highly rated tour company on Trip Advisor. Thankfully, I found that Phuket Sail Tours is operating tours from Krabi now, and booking thru email was quick & efficient. They definitely deserve all the 5* reviews!
Captain Mark and Sam took our family out for a glorious day of swimming, snorkeling, kayaking and cave trekking. We also had time to relax on beaches, enjoy an amazing lunch on the floating isle of Ko Panyi and take the monkey trail between Railay West and Railay East. The speedboat was top notch as were the selected places we visited. We were able to arrive before the hoards of people from larger boats, making the experience so much more enjoyable. Safety was a priority without being excessive (we saw another group wearing hard hats in the cave, and my son thought they looked like traffic cones!)
Unfortunately my husband lost his iPhone snorkeling the next day, so the photos documenting our great day out are gone forever. We will just have to return to Krabi.
Thanks to Captain Mark & Sam...Phang Nga Bay is certainly a highlight of our Thailand trip!!

We had the best day with Phuket Sail Tours. We did the tour from Krabi. It was a great choice, since it is usually less busy, and we even had the luck to have the boat all for ourselves.
The tour guide was Sam, an amazing guide, with a great sense of humor, very energetic and constantly caring about us having the best experience.
We visited snorkeling spots, several islands, we checked Maya bay from a distance, we spotted monkeys, we had a sort of private beach in the early morning... and most importantly, we avoided crowds. For such a crowded activity, we never had any feeling of being among many people. The tour was spotlessly organized.
The lunch was included. Classic thai-oriented food, as good as any other restaurant around. The quantity was humongous, so no worries there. Also, during the day we had soft drinks and snacks (sweets and fruits) to refresh ourselves.
We are very grateful to our guide Sam and to the whole team. We did not have the chance to meet Captain Mark, but knew our group and send regards anyway.
Really, really recommend to pay the extra dollar and have a superb experience.

More pricey than some of the other tour operators but for a good reason . . . you get what you pay for, and thats Quality!! Exactly what we wanted. . For us it was a great experience and something we will never forget, a great memorable holiday experience from Krabi to the Phi Phi islands. . Thank you very very much PST . .

We did the speed boat to Phi Phi island tour out of Krabi. Sam and the rest of the staff were wonderful and treated us very well. My family was the only guests on board and I was surprised they still ran the trip just for us. Most of the other companies would have cancelled in this situation. They really go above and beyond to make sure their guests are having a great time. The captain was obviously very experienced and we felt safe even though the sea was a bit rough. The lunch that was provided in Phi Phi was great and we had so many choices to choose from. We saw some amazing scenery and also snorkeled. Many of the other speed boats that we saw in Phi Phi were crammed full of people and that made us realize how good we had it. I highly recommend Phuket sail tours!

Hi there Jason. I am happy to know that you had a good time at Phi Phi. It isn't easy for us to run a tour with just 2 guests aboard, but we are not in the business of disappointing people so we did not want to cancel.

We have been to a number of tours led by Phuket Sail Tours and were delighted to know that they have an office in Krabi where we were staying. We booked the Phi Phi Islands by speedboat tour and they are prompt in their email replies.
We were picked up from our hotel at 7 am and went to their office. We were glad to see Sam, the tour guide from our previous trips and Captain Mark and his lovely wife Cha Cha. We were served toasted sandwiches for breakfast and coffee.
After breakfast, we were driven to the pier for the speedboat. Captain Mark was there to see us off. Another family grouped was picked up from Railey Beach. There were a total of 8 adults and a baby girl on the speedboat. We were very comfortable as compared to some other speedboats which we saw was overcrowded with passengers. There were drinks on board, as well as fruits and snacks like fried chicken wings and cakes.
Our first stop was at Maya Bay. It was not as crowded as the captain avoided the crowded area. The view is beautiful and we swam and took lots of pictures of the beautiful scenery.
Our next stop is snorkeling at Phi Phi Le. As I am a not so strong swimmer, I was afraid to go snorkeling on my own. I asked Sam, our guide if he could go with me. I very much appreciated that he could snorkel with me and I was able to see the many fishes and the corals. We went to the lagoon for another swim and some passengers jumped off the boat.
We had lunch at a restaurant in Phi Phi Don Island. There were massaman curry, green curry with chicken, stir-fried mixed vegetables, seafood cashew nut, fried rice, french fries and fried chicken. There were fruits like pineapple and watermelon. Tea and coffee is available too. We were surprised to bump into Jack, another staff from Phuket Sail Tours, who was leading a group from Phuket.
After lunch, we headed over to Bamboo Island to relax at the white sandy beach. Some of us laze on the white sand beach while enjoying the view, while others snorkel in the crystal clear water. There were many fishes too.
We had another snorkeling session where we saw many colourful fishes, sea urchins and corals. Sam snorkeled with me again and even pointed out the Nemo fish to me.
When we returned to the pier, Captain Mark and Cha Cha was there to meet us. We were then driven back to our hotel.
The tour is very well organized and the staff are all very helpful. We really enjoyed our trip and I would not have been able to enjoy snorkeling if not for Sam. We really look forward to another great trip with Phuket Sail Tours.

Firstly I’d like to thank Captain Mark for letting our tour go ahead even though there was just the two of us, any other company would have most likely cancelled. What can I say, a private charter for the day on a fantastic speedboat which was immaculate and extremely comfortable, an amazing guide, Sam and two great crew. It was awesome!
We were picked up at our hotel and taken to PST’s office where we were offered coffee and breakfast before being taken the short journey to the dock. We could not have chosen a more perfect day, the weather was fantastic, the sea was like glass and the ride was extremely smooth, you almost felt as if you were sitting a comfy car driving down the motorway. Plenty to eat and drink on board if you were hungry.
First stop was Maya Bay, while not empty it was pretty quiet compared to what it would be like later in the morning. We got a lot of great pics without hordes of people in them. Thank you Sam, you did a fantastic job as our personal photographer for the day.
We had a few stops for swimming and snorkelling along the way. We docked at Koh Phi Phi Don for lunch and a wander about which we loved.
We stopped at Monkey Beach but were happy not to get off the boat. Saw a lot of monkeys, some of which jumped off the rocks into the sea for a swim. We also stopped at Viking caves and saw where swallow nests are collected for bird’s nest soup, looked quite a precarious job!
We stopped at a quiet spot on Bamboo Island which has lovely white sand and great photo opportunities.
As we had plenty of time we stopped at Railay Bay which is really nice with a lovely beach, we had a good walk about there. We also visited PhraNang Cave which was fascinating.
We saw a lot of other tour boats throughout the day and they practically were standing room only, an accident waiting to happen. While we were extremely lucky we had what amounted to a private tour, even if our boat had the maximum people that PST limit their tours to, it would still have been very comfortable with plenty of space for everyone.
Finally we headed back to the pier at Ao Nang and taxi back to our hotel. We very spoiled and had an absolutely amazing day which will stay with us for a long time. You get what you pay for but we certainly got a whole lot more!

Not a good deal for us to only have 2 people on the boat, but we are keen to develep a good reputation Krabi, as we have in Phuket, and we won't get a good reputation if turn people away.

We did Phi Phi Island by speedboat. We were fed lovely food throughout the day and our guide and crew were so helpful and made sure our group of 10 got the most out of our day. Thanks again Phuket Sail Tours. You don’t disappoint. The guests safety and experience is their main concern.

We booked a day trip to explore the islands/caves/mangrove forest. First by speedboat, then kayaking, swimming, snorkeling. Everything was provided for. It was phenomenal. The food on the floating Muslim village was better than the average tourist Thai food. Our guide Sam did everything possible to accommodate us, and we really appreciated the flexibility he showed. He even brought us a bowl of what the locals eat after we showed disappointment that he gets to eat local stuff while we are being served tourist fare. He was the greatest! And the other staff members too. I think that is what sets it apart from other tours, the personability and caring attitude of the people in this company.

I am glad that you got to eat the local food as well, I must admit that some of the local stuff is too strong for me, but if you like it then great.

Hi, May I know for september travelling, whether is moonsoon period? As I went there last year May, the sea very rough, so we did not get amy chance for island hopping.

Hi AHK. May to October is the south west monsoon season, weather is mixed. It can be perfect weather or heavy rain and big waves. The advantages of coming that time of year are cheaper hotels and less crowds. If you have 10 days or so book boat trips early in your stay so that you have time to reschedule if the tour has to be cancelled. If you are only coming for 3 or 4 days it is a gamble, you may have good weather or may not. Trips to Phang Nga Bay are less likely to be cancelled than trips to Phi Phi, as Phi Phi is open seas, the bay is sheltered waters.
