A great way to see how this tribe live. All the people were very friendly and it was a real insight. The Mon school was lovely and the children really cute. Their houses were basic and lack of modern appliances an eye opener.

Not my cup of tea, but the Mon village is home to many people who work at the river rafts resort. Highlight was a strange place for a Buddha

We visited the village on the way to see the elephants. Small village where you can walk around most places. We had a pretty sweet interaction with the young kids from the village. Worth the visit.
