A good place to visit for an hour or so. However, I do feel that the safety aspect needs reviewing. On our visit such things as the railings at the side of stairs were worn away, some of the paving slabs used as paths were...More

Lawa Cave is worth explored as its a deep cave featuring its natural irregular shapes with live bats living in it. Though its very hot as we went deep into the cave, luckily there was no tourist at that time, due to a sudden rain.

From the Floathouse it's a short but steep climb up six sets of wooden stairs. Then a five minute walk along a dirt road to the national park ranger station. Entry is 300 baht for tourists obtained from the ranger. That's the easy part. You...More

Been to many caves and this one is so isolated that you will likely be the only tourists there at the time. A separate guide will accompany you with a gas fired lantern as there is no electricity inside, only a walkway...go slow.

We were the only people inside the cave the whole time of visit. I was very impressed by this cave, it was warm and humid which is not very common for a cave. The bats, the faulty steps and light made it an adventure. We...More

This was an interesting cave/temple to view however after seeing many such caves they all start to have a sameness to them. If you haven't seen many then definitely visit this one.

Be prepared to sweat sweat sweat. The tour guide is very gracious however the cave was just so so. Mostly you used your imagination to see things in the stalagmite/stalagtite formations. The grounds are nice. They have food, refreshments and a huge fish pond.

Took a trip by longboat to these caves and wished l hadn't. It was a long journey for so little reward. There are steep steps down at the beginning which can get a bit slippery. Inside was very bland. I have seen many caves and...More
