Even though it was raining during our visit, it is still an amazing waterfall. We walked around the site carrying umbrellas.

The waterfalls are on 7 levels.
First 2 were a walk and a few stairs .
As you went up 3 and 4 the stairs were steeper and the pathway a bit more challenging.
Up to 5 the stairs stopped and you had to climb over rocks and narrow ledges.
Although I stopped at 5 ,the rest of our party went to 6 and 7 . It certainly was hard work and part of the journey was through water. Certainly not for the unfit or the faint hearted!
The waterfalls were all beautiful in there own way and there is many opportunities to bathe to cool down.

This is a large waterfall with a nice walkway along the base. Many were swimming in it and tubing. It has a path that leads past the waterfall and to an abandoned Japanese train engine.

We visited as part of a tour. 7 levels with waterfalls on. Be aware it is a bit of a climb uphill to get to them all. The highest is very tall. You can swim or at least did cool off in the oils.take water shoes or flip flops for the water, but walking up hill might be better in something more sturdy. Watch out for the fish nibbling your feet, not painful but a little disconcerting as you can’t see them through the milky water. Very enjoyable few hours, could perhaps make it a day if you move between the different levels for a while in each.
