Suits in Hua Hin
Aug 2018 • Business
My son and i are going to this tailor and we bought a suit for each of us. The staff was very friendly and we had not the impression, that they want to sale as much as they can.
After five days and three times try on our suits are ready and perfect done. The quality and price was reasonable and we can fully recommend Savile Row tailor.

Insist the tailor is present for first two fittings
Aug 2018 • Solo
Since my original review posted in 2015 I have twice returned and bought a further 5 suits. Sadly, the fit was not as good, particularly the trouser drape.

Based upon my 3 experiences I would suggest you insist that the tailor attend the first two fittings so you can get the most from your purchase.

For further info see my 2015 review.

It was recommanded by the concierge of my hotel who didn't know the most voted on Trip Adisor (Tuxedo).
2 suits, 5 shirts. All of the best fabrics. 22500 THB
A large shop, with space and more on first floor.
Mini van to pick up at the hotel and drive back. 2 fittings before final delivery
They have catalogues of most top brands (like Boss...)
Shirts are not "just white", you chose everything and make it a creative as you want, with your initials on... or not...
Friendly people. If you don't know what you want, they will tell you. They are good professionals.

Top notch

Our hotel had folders from this place, but we were originally going to another tailor. When we first came here, it was clear to see that these guys are serious!
You get a very professional feel, and they have some great garments on display.

My girlfriend got a chinese style dress made with fine chinese silk. It took one test fitting, and they offered to pick us up at the hotel, and deliver us back.

The staff is really friendly, and not pushy like many other places here.

I would reccomend giving this place a visit. They deserve more reviews :)

Delighted with my garments
Jan 2017 • Couples
I wanted a couple of pairs of capris pants made as I have trouble finding well fitting trousers. We asked the concierge at our hotel for a few suggestions and Savile Row was one of them we went and had a look at the shop and spoke to one of the chaps there I explained what I wanted and he showed me fabrics. I chose the better quality ones and was measured for two pairs. Three days later they were delivered to my hotel. They fit perfectly. I am extremely pleased and I found the price very reasonable. I was also very happy that there was no pressure whatsoever that I have other items of clothing made . My husband was with me and he was ask d if he would like anything, he said no thank you and that was it, no constant pressure and suggestions. I appreciated this tremendously as this has not been our experience at other tailors in Thailand. I would definitely go back.

One of my favourite Tailors - Savile Row, Hua Hin
Aug 2014 • Solo
I have been wearing bespoke for 20+ years. I was very wary of buying from one of the many, many tailors in Hua Hin but as I can no longer get to my regular tailor I thought I would try a test suit with one of the better HH shops.  I did my research and also asked my hotel concierge (the venerable Yingsuphat Wrarapho ”Alex” of The Anantara) for a recommendation and eventually settled upon Savile Row Tailors 30-32 Soi 74 Amnuaysin.

I am delighted with the end result. In-fact I bought two suits. The fit is excellent on both and there is no variance in the two pairs of trousers I ordered with each suit.
The selection of cloths was very large and I chose from the English and Italian 150s & 120s ranges. (cashmere and cashmere blended).
The on-site tailor understood what I wanted and got the shoulder right first time (this has happened only once before in my experience).
I had four fittings in the week it took to produce the suit. (three is normally enough but I am a difficult customer)

I have had better suits from Savile Row, London & in The Princes Building in Hong Kong but paid significantly more.
I do not think I could match this quality anywhere else for the price I paid.

I will not post the price paid as this just leads to a race to the bottom that helps no-one.
Suffice it to say, the price was very good and I plan to buy again.

My advice if you are thinking of going bespoke in Hua Hin:
-Avoid any tailor that employs people to stand outside and drag customers in.
-Get a recommendation from someone you trust
-Do your homework and make a list of the features you want.
-Buy the best cloth you can afford.
-Pictures, pictures, pictures – take close-up pictures of the cloths you like, the details you want and the overall silhouette you are trying to achieve.
(If you have the pictures on your smartphone you could email them to the tailor of your choice when you have selected a cloth.)
-Visit the tailor at the beginning of your holiday so you have time for three or possibly four fittings
-Take a favourite shirt along with you so you can get the perfect cuff position.
- Always order two pairs of trousers and your suit will last for years

When you have your new suit, avoid dry cleaning and pressing as much as possible as both will give it the horrid sheen.
Do not believe anything your dry cleaner says about his safe steam press. (I have learned this over many frustrating years)

Simply hang your jacket and trousers on good shaped hangers  in the shower room  or use a powerful steam generator iron to squirt steam at the suite without touching the garment.

I would have posted this review earlier but had trouble finding the website.

I will be returning soon.
