A delightful low key experience. Yayya is a good teacher. I was able to learn to prepare food myself. I pounded the paste for curry and learned about things I could buy or substitute. I sas the only one there and I thought it might be dull. But it worked really well as I could take my tome to prepare things. I am coeliac and Yayya made sure the sauces were gluten free. She sent her offsider out to the market especially to get the necessary safe for me sauces. She also arranged for chicken in place of sea food. Cooking was done outside on the porch. That was a pleasant change from cooking in an indoor kitchen. Class ran smoothly. .

Chef Yaa is an excellent teacher. She is talented but also friendly and has a truly humble and caring spirit about her. We thoroughly enjoyed our full day class here. With Chef Yaa's careful and clear instructions we made 24 scrumptious dishes in 1 day. We were a group of 3 and each made 8 different dishes. The food was delicious and I'm so pleased to have had to the experience and to also have the recipes to make at home. We'd give her more than 5 stars if we could! We'd definitely recommend this class.

Booked a private lesson and absolutely loved it. The instructor was really kind, supportive and all around pleasant to spend 3-4 hours with. She gave really good tips and ways to substitute some thai ingredients with the ones I can find from my country. Would recommend her private or group lessons to anyone, one of the best things I did in Thailand!

Chef Yaa is such a talented teacher! Everyone is cooking different dishes yet she integrates it all so smoothly, all the while cooking & educating you throughout. She’s so kind and has a very nice presence to be around and that is also excluding her talents that are so brightly present! My twin recommended this course as she did it seven years ago and it’s still such a lovely memory for her. She tried a few and this one stood out, it’s very clear why. We highly recommend it! Had a great half-day cooking course. Booking was very easy and fast, and they were very helpful in arranging pick-up. Visiting the market was fun and interesting. The course itself was very well structured with first preparing all the ingredients for all four courses (mis en place) with explanations and suggestions for alternatives available in European shops, then cooking and eating each course. Everything was delicious and we even had a great evening meal off the leftovers.
