You get to see a Buddhist temple (abt 200 flights of stairs) and also statue of Kuan Yin and the four face Buddha facing the sea. Alright sea view and the city view. However the access roads are bad and due to irresponsible drivers double parking at the market nearby it took us half an hour just to get in... More

Not sure why they call it "Chopsticks Hill" Our taxi took us up the hill otherwise it would have been too much. At the car park there are the usual shops and stalls to buy local souvenirs, then a climb of over 100 steps up to the top where there is a small Buddha temple. the advertising suggested that the... This was a very interesting day out. The beach at the foot of the hill was outstanding with great views. The hill was full of cheeky monkeys who would take anything off you if you are not looking. Don't put you water down to take a photo! The temples are like most others and there are various shops on the... More

On the way to the hill you will pass the fish harbour with many colourful boats, living fishes in aquariums. Than you climb the hill and arrive at the temple. To take the stairs of the temple and to see the view over Khao Takiab and Hua Hin is quite impressive. The monkeys on the top of the hill are... More

After constant moaning I gave in and took my son to see the monkeys I was quite disappointed with how run down the area was it wouldn't take long to have a clean up and it would most probably gain more tourists that would bring in more dollars that could go towards the healthcare of the monkeys and the area.

Hired a scooter to do a bit of sight seeing in Hua Hin, came across chopsticks hill or Monkey mountain as some call it. A huge golden statue stands at the front of he mountain to which there is huge set of steps to get to the top. On arriving at the top exhausted in the heat there wasn't really... More

We went here with our 2yr and 4yr old... its not bad, but the place could do with a good clean up. The monkeys are pretty nasty, keep your kids away from them. One important tip- do not drive here. Take a taxi to the bottom and walk up. We got stuck in the most insane traffic jam caused by... More
