It is clean apart from the occasional problem pony poo. There also are a number of jellyfish stranded on the shore. The beach is not very wide and disappears at high tide.

I went for a morning walk along the beach, which was fine and enjoyable. There are nice shells washed up, gentle waves, and many jellyfish when I was there. It was fairly quiet at about 7am on a weekday. The beach is dominated by hotels...More

Walked along the beach a few times. For most of the time it is lovely soft sand. There are a few jellyfish as previously mentioned and a little litter but on the whole it seems to be a fairly clean beach. Did not venture into...More

I love the beach and it's cleanliness. It is the best beach near Bangkok, it's neat and less poluted.

There are many nice hotels but you can not swim there. So if you want to swim you should go another beach. For seimming and sun bathing is good Takiap beach.

The sand is fine and firm for walking. This is wind surfing heaven. Even if you do not wind surf, the surfers provide a nice ambiance and of course the constant breeze is wonderful. Lots of opportunities for on the beach massage and pony rides...More

Hi Claire Depends what you are looking for. Personally I don't think Hua Hin is a very romantic place unless you stay in one of those expensive hotels at the water front. But if you are into water sports, exploring around... More
