About
The Black Mountain Water Park is spread over 48000Sqm and is situated a short distance from the centre of Hua Hin, just 15 minutes from town. It opened in 2011 and is now one of the most favourite tourist attractions in the region. Tourists and local residents have been extremely complimentary about the good times spent on the many exciting attractions. The Park is full of high quality, modern equipment that is all operated in line with the highest safety standards and supervised by highly trained lifeguards. We have a 17 metre high tower with 9 different slides, a spectacular wave pool which is made the biggest wave in Thailand, the lazy river, a beach/infinity pool and children's pool, inflatable "Wibit" Sport Park all providing the best fun filled day out a family can have. This park is very good for family fun with safety and well trained staff who very friendly as very warm welcome with Thai culture *Good To Know about Black Mountain Water Park Locker is free of charge to all guest Young kids is free entry (under 110 cm) Senior people get 50 % discount of ticket rate (60yrs) All equipment to play is free ie helmet, life vest, board, tubes

Fun day out with young and teen family group.
We were the only people here except for one other group so we basically had the run of the place which was fun; I imagine many people looked at the weather report, which we didn’t, so the first hour was heavy rain but at a water park…so what!?
This park was much better for our family group as the six year old was able to go on all but one ride whereas the other water park in hua hin that we visited had a height restriction which excluded him from any slides except for the baby areas. The food was also nicer here.

Yes, some of it it looking a bit tired but with covid having a major affect on the tourism industry im sure that there have been more important things to focus on.

Would advise strong supervision at all times as while there were staff around, most lifeguard stations were not manned.

Thanks for a great day out.

Ok for a day out but fairly expensive for what’s on offer.
There was some construction work going on so not that easy to walk around. Taking your own water bottle is not allowed.
Food and drinks are on a par with elsewhere in Hua Hin.
Probably worthwhile if you have kids.

We visited with a group of friends staying together. Other than our group there was only 5 other families there. The park is clean and main slides and pools have been maintained well. The wave pool was fun when they changed the setting to create some bigger waves. Food is good but more expensive than you will find in town and they check your bags at the door. This is not a huge park but was very enjoyable without a crowd, a fun day out.

Instuctors are kind and frienly, you have place with great food, everything so clean. I was few times there, and will be even more. Important is that park is very close to Hua Hin. We have visited the water park today. It is not big but good enough, especially for kids. Our daughter is almost 6 and there were a lot of fun for her there. There are water slides both for kids and adults. You can take the life jacket if you cannot swim and put on a helmet when on water slides.
I also liked the artificial wave, it is switched on every 20 minutes.
It is absolutely not crowded, there are no queues.
The food is also good. French fries and chicken nuggets, Fried rice with shrimps and Phad Thai tasted all good.

My recommendation is to visit when in Hua Hin with kids.

Visited here yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed it, as did my husband and 14yr old son. Its not on the scale of the usa water parks but we still spent 5-6 hours here.
It cost 500 baht each (£10 approx) so very good value.
They do have a free shuttle bus (actualy a large coach) which isnt mentioned on the website or publicised at all. Pick up is at the hua hin clock tower at 9.30/11.00/12.30 and takes 30 mins approx. Return journey is from outside the entry gate, times are 2.00/3.30/5.00

This is a top water park for the family with kids up to about 12 I would think. After that the rides might be a bit mundane especially for any adrenaline junkies! We had a fab day with our kids (8 & 9) and will be back for more the next time we are in town.

We just come back from this Waterpark.

We used the free shuttle service from the clock tower Hua Hin. Nice. De shuttle service is a white tuk tuk with a "Black mountain" sticker on the door. The shuttle stops at the entrance of the tempel. For information about the hours and the park you can download an brochure at their website.

The park itself. An adult pays 600 bath (Farang and Thai) and for children its 300 bath.

The park is very clean. Very clear water. You can not take food or drinks inside. They check your bags at the entrance. At the left you have lockers, showers and cabins to change your clothes. You have to pay 200 bath deposit for the locker key.

For food and drinks you have to put money on a electronic card. You can do this at the souvenier shop at the entrance. After your visit, they give thr money on the card that you not used back. The drinks are fair priced. 30 bath for cola, fanta.... 20 for water, 35 for ice cream.

About the pools. Well.. you have many sliders... from easy to heavy. Everywhere are lifeguards. Its Fun. You have many places to sit and relax.

For the baby and young students they have a pool of waterfun to. For the brave they have the big wave pool. This is amazing.

Well....we liked it very much and if have time we sure go back again. At the end of the day you can take the tuk tuk back to Hua hin for free..... thats what i call service !

Black mountain water park is very tame and boring, just as a stand alone waterpark, that's without comparing it to the all action Vana Nava waterpark.

First, the location of black mountain is very far from the town centre and train station, about 12km (basically where everything is happening)
While Vana Nava is only about 5km.

Secondly, the slides at Black Mountain are very few and very tame and they make you wear safety helmets (completely unnecessary) furthermore, the food selection is very poor.

Now onto Vana Nava. Simply awesome! Before you even enter the park proper, you're teased with the options of running head on, straight into the park or, pitting your strengths and wits against the jungle ropes, outdoor rock climbing wall and even an awesome surfing zone!
Also, there is a nice coffee house and selection of Asian and Western food available. Once you have decided whether to eat, surf or climb....you enter the park!

Wow! Awesome slides and rides!
Abyss and boomerango, think of roller coasters but with water!

Then there is the gut wrenching freefall! And the aqualoop!
But awesome!

I paid for two parks in one day and soon got over it after 30 seconds in Nava!

Also I got 50% of entry because it's my birthday in July. My girlfriend got a 25% discount.
I had an awesome time and will be going back as part of a lads weekend in November!
