A very nice market place, lots of interesting booths where locals sell all kinds of stuff originating from the Thai culture. A tip - if you want a little more authentic Thai food to a cheaper price, then keep to the right of the "official" market. A little more primitive than the food market inside the market but definitely worth... More

When we visited it was fairly quiet. there was plenty of food and stalls available, from typical thai souvenirs all the way to hand made local crafts. worth visiting and wandering around for an hour or so.

We are regulars to the cicada markets, love the choice of the freshly cooked food and the beautiful setting with the lampshades threaded through the trees. Great market as well.

Cicada has become a great place to spend a weekend evening, with good selection of tasty food, nice shopping opportunities and very good live band entertainment. it´s a bit more pricey than other local markets, but well worth the extra money, in my opinion.

This is the most pleasant market we have been to in the Far East. Food was great, love jazz band played... More

It's a nice change from the dirty and crowded markets all over Thailand. This one is very clean and with lots of space and unique items. We didn't try the food but there was plenty to choose from.
