Only a few shops availble in this village. A handful of souvenir shop are available but not much chkice and design. Locals made snack or food are available but it just doesn't look fresh at all so i skip it. The only things u bought there is the fried potato local style and coconut at the bottom floor. Good place if you like to take some vintage background photo. There are quite many things which you can see from the 20th century from toys to vehicles. If you were going to santorini park than you might give it a quick stop at this village or else it is just a waste of yoir time to purposely come here.

Well, our tour guide dropped us at the carpark and told us to walk over without telling us what place it was. From outside, we thought it was a theme park with entrance fees. After we went in, then we realised it was shopping / food eateries. Nothing fantastic here besides shops and some areas for phototaking. It was very warm as well. The only plus point - you may get to eat some localised food.

This place just celebrated its 10 year anniversary, but I understood it is closed down in 2020. We came there out of nostalgia, but we understand why it is closing down. The attractions are not well kept, the food is quite average and the staff is not quite friendly.
A disappointment indeed.

PlearnWan is a newly built, eco friendly, living museum with architecture and decoration based on villages of Hua Hin's past. It's basically a large oblong structure of small shops on two levels which is open in the middle. And it satisfies two of Thailand's favorite pastimes: shopping and eating. There's no entrance fee, it's opened Monday - Thursday from 10 am - 10 pm, Friday from 10 am - midnight
Saturdays from 9 am - noon, Sundays from 9 am - 10 pm. And It's a wonderful place to spend a couple of hours.

Nice retro place for photo-taking which is nicely decorated with vintage cars and fixtures.

Only a few local Thai food stalls and some small shop selling cloths.

Do visit for leisure sightseeing as this place can bring back some childhood memories :)

Free entry.

Take a stroll in a retro theme market place for Hua Hin tourists before a long drive home to Bangkok. It's fun to walk around, enjoy delicious food from those cute stalls and nostalgically played with the "Ngan-Watt" booths with "Klang-Pang" Movie Theater as its main attraction. Plearn Wan is a unique market place offering reasonable price souvenirs, foods and clothes. A little bit INDY feeling and lots of creativity were put into this nostalgic place. My parents' generation would enjoy it as well as young people. You should go there and be the judge yourself! :)

What a boring place. It’s a waste of time and energy to make a trip there.

There’s basically no one there - see the photos. When we were about to leave, we saw a bus load of Chinese tourists.

Unless you have lots of time to spare, skip this place.

Transportation to Plearn Wan was easy by using green color Songthaew which start from Khao Takiab all the way to Plearn Wan at B20 per person each way. If you start from night market area it is B10/person. The green songthaew will do a short stop at Market Village and at 7-11 Sa-Song Road (inter-section to Dechanuchit Road - location of night market). Sometimes during lunch time, the green songthaew will completely stop at 7-11 for lunch break and you need to do a change to another green songthaew. The songthaew will go north till airport. Keep a lookout for Soi 38. The entrance of Plearn Wan is at the left hand side facing the Petchakasem Highway. Entrance is FOC. A replica of a old village where there are plenty of shops and stall selling foods and merchandise. I can highly recommend you to buy their souvenirs because the price is cheaper than what you can get at night market and it is of high quality. However the taste of food is just below average. If you are keen to stay a night at Plearn Wan, there are actually hotel rooms at the 1st floor. PlearnWan is good for photo session and do some shopping. Good for an hour or so stopover as there is no entrance fee charged.
