Maybe 30 people work here. Spectacular large pots, beautiful glazes, large grounds, worth a visit, slightly out of the ordinary a few km off the highway north

If you like unique pottery pieces, this is the place to come and visit. Beautiful dishware, tea cups, and tea pots. Original work by local artisans using high grade materials to create one of a kind items that you'll want to take home with you.

This pottery business is open to the public complete with a few little shops of sales (including one cottage containing discounted items of pottery that have slight imperfections) and a great coffee shop with cakes. It is set in trees and lots of shade and very peaceful to hear the birds singing and soft music playing as you sip on your coffee (there is no tea) and browse lots of pottery for sale.
This is well worth a visit, even if you don't intend to buy pottery.

Baan Din Dang (Red Earth Pottery Home) Chiang Rai

A humble place nestled in a quiet hill farmland area that exists to inspire. A walk-in natural studio of huge amounts of creative and colorful artworks fused with Japanese home style architecture, artist Somluk Pantiboon makes the visitor feel right at home. Pottery that can be both functional and aesthetically peaceful, is displayed across the red soil and bamboo shaded adobe. A magical gem that can have you transfixed in all of the craft for hours.

It's very nice to see such nice pottery there and all the artwork that present at the place. You can feel the cold when walking there. You can take photo at every spot there. It's so creative place.

They have nothing but custom made pottery and also sculpture made with broken pottery and most of it require shipping except a few pieces.

This place has beautiful pottery, a lovely coffee house and there's so much gorgeous pottery on display that it's like being in a museum.

This is really a hidden gem. The pottery is absolutely beautiful and very reasonably priced. They have a lovely little coffee shop there as well, that you can just sit and relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery.

Almost didn't go because someone bagged the coffee and I like coffee more than pottery. BUT my espresso and wife's Americano were really good. Very peaceful and pleasant. Go!

I love the pottery. It is a shame they are heavy so I only managed to bring home a few small items. It is a nice place to visit to browse the beautiful pieces all around the premise. It is out of the way so I recommend combining it with the Black House visit.
