It's like you're in a dream... so stunningly beautiful and the artist was so creative inside and outside. Even the building where the toilets are located looks bautiful in gold. Bought some of the posters with marvelous images of Buddah. Recommend!

This is less about a traditional temple and more about a modern take on Buddhist art. Charlemchai Kositpipa's dream is manifested in this gorgeous place! You feel rushed going through the main building where modern icons are scattered around the painted walls. But - slow...More

The temple is a sort of artistic monument rather than historic one. It was built about 20 years ago. Nevertheless, the temple and it's surroundings are quite beautiful and surely worth the half an hour drive from the city.

This Buddhist temple was constructed by a Thai National Artist. Therefore, temple itself is a great art. Not far from Chiang Rai city and this is worth to visit. Entrance fee is THB50 (approx. USD1.5) for Foreigners. Free parking is available.

I'm not sure of the pre-history of the white temple location. I believe it is a actual temple. You are required to cover up, remove shoes and hats like all the other wats we visited The place is not finished yet. They are... More
