Like the other courses in the area we played this one 5 times during our stay.
The course is in good condition greens difficult (not uncommon in Hua Hin) and beautiful layout.
The caddies were for the most very good but also here needs to improve their language skills.
The course ranks in my view just under Banyan and Black Mountain and level with Springfield and a nudge over Majestic Creek and Lake View.

Playing all the golf courses in Hua Hin, this is certainly a positive experience. In good condition and cheaper than the top rated courses such as Banyan. A very nice course that you can play in three hours. We had great caddies and an enjoyable game I warmly recommend this course to any golfer. The lunch we had in the club house on the other hand, was not much to boost about.

Recently reopened following the enforced lockdown and it’s all playing rather well. The tee boxes are flat, the fairways very decent and the greens fast and challenging.
Very acceptable green fees are currently very low to attract customers - nice one.

The golf course is wonderful, challenging and a great experience which I would rate 5 out of 5. Certainly equal to or better than Black Mountain.

However, when one leaves the course and goes to the restaurant, the experience is dreadful. Absolutely no service, it was not busy but had to walk to reception twice before we got our drinks. Never bothered to order more drinks. Our food eventually turned up, the kindest thing I could say was that it was adequate but a never to be repeated experience.

My first visit with my friends at Palm Hills Golf Club and everything meet our expectation. One of the best and beautiful golf landscapes in Hua Hin with friendly staffs. After play, we went to have lunch at the restaurant and everythings were perfect. The food presentation look great which i order fish & chip and chicken basket to share with my girlfriend. The restaurant service staffs and manager were also excellent, friendly and great service. Highly recommend this place. I will be back again in the future.

Palm Hills is just outside of the city of Hua Hin in Thailand
It's not the best golf course in the area. Other courses like Springfield are more world class. But the greens are in great shape and the course is well maintained.
The 18 hole golf course is surrounded by residential houses and villas.
Residents who live there often have golf memberships that allow them unlimited golf for a very reasonable fee.
If you aren't a member it's 2000 baht plus per round not including caddy tip (around 200 baht). That's about par for the area.
If you are interested in golf rates and info you can visit

Word of warning. It's pretty hot in Thailand almost all year round. Best time to golf is early morning before the sun start beating down on you. April is a bad time to be out golfing because of the heat.

Played with my wife in the beginning of April. Had fortune to have good caddies for both. But as the season had been very warm (hot) and dry there was maintance on the greens that week (day), holed and sand bed so it was just bad for putting. Liked the course and like to play it again when it is in normal state. Just bad luck for us.

I have played golf courses in this area a number of times but first time at Palm Hills. While Black Mountain and Banyan are the best in this region this course is not far behind. I liked the layout and challenge variations. The club house facilities were also quite good. I will definitely play this course again.

I have just played all 3 over the last few days, and i would put them in this order Banyan then Palm hill and last Springfield.
Banyan was a very good course to play with slopping fairways and lovely greens all in tip top condition.
Palm hill was close second another lovely course with all the view and scenery and very challenging greens that 3 of us found hard with pins positioned on the slopes.
Springfield was a bit disappointed with the course overhaul not up the the other 2 courses fairways not so good and the greens the same.
With the festival on till the end of Oct i think it's worth looking around for the deals Palm and Springfield are 1000 +300 for caddie and Banyan was 1800+300 for caddie but i went out after 3 and got it for 1300+300 and finished before the sun went down but i was by myself so got around in 3 hrs
