Did a half day tour with this company for cycling and visiting a waterfall, Do not go, they say its for all level of fitness which is a lie. We were expected to cycle over very rough terrain with boulders on road if your not into mountain cycling its not for you, It rained before we got to the footpath that leads to waterfall, I realise they have no control over weather but the 2 kms we were expected to climb was very dangerous and slippery with nothing to hold on too . The guide who we were told could speak english did not understand a word. He went ahead of the 3 that were in group about 200mts in front at times with rain we couldnt see him, no rainwear was provided and when asked about this he didn't understand, any one of us could have slipped down the many ravines and he would not have been aware, no first aid kit with him nothing in fact he asked if he could put his MOB in my bag to save it from becoming wet. Please be aware someone is going to get injured on this tour with this guide, Really not worth the money go zip lining instead much safer. ,

This trip was excellent. Very well planned. I was a little worried I would find it hard even though I am reasonably fit for a 51 year old. We stopped at a beautiful beach. We was very lucky to see an elephant which was an added bonus. Then onto a temple. Next was the waterfall. Then down to excellent lunch. Romeo was our guide his English was excellent and he had a great sense of humour. This trip was the highlight of my holiday so far.

We had a brilliant half day tour with this company. Our family joined with another couple with 3 guys from the company guiding us through the jungle paths. Be warned there are stretches which require a certain level of fitness - which I don't have but the guides made sure that everyone was OK, matching their pace. As previous reviews say, these guys are friendly helpful and have a great sense of humour. The scenery is an amazing distraction and it is so refreshing to get away from the usual crowded tourist spots. We trekked through the rain forest to a secluded waterfall - didn't see another soul the whole time. A really lovely way to spend the morning before visiting a local temple and then on to river based restaurant to rest weary feet in whilst eating. The guys even managed to return a lost pair of sunglasses to our hotel the following day when they took another group up to the waterfall - brilliant customer service!! Thanks from the Sever family.

We had high hopes for this trip after reading the reviews but were really disappointed . Upon arrival to where the bikes were we had to choose a bike & hat. The bikes did not have adjustable saddles (or guide couldn't be bothered to change them for us ?) so basically you had to do the ride on a bike which was too high/short or ok if you just happened to be lucky enough to grab a bike which was your size. The hats were all smelly & had obviously never been cleaned 😳 The tour was ok, but the guide had no consideration for slower riders & just went ahead at his pace . If somebody had fallen off, he would never have known. Very little info given either. At the end, there was an option to climb a slippery & dangerous climb to the top of a waterfall ....no thanks ! On a positive note, lunch was nice, but for 2,000 Baht, for a few hours on a half decent bike , it was quite honestly a rip off. I don't normally post anything bad on TripAdvisor but would hate for others to waste their money. We went on full day tours with lunch for much less money , which were much more informative

Cycle Khao Lak is a local company that provided a great morning of cycling and hiking. Our guides were friendly and had a good sense of humour as well as a good command of English. Our journey took us through back roads, trails and tracks on bikes that were well maintained and we rode at a pace that suited everyone. The hike to the waterfall was well worth the effort and the lunch at the end was delicious. I highly recommend this activity.
