Wishing to conquer Kilimanjaro choosing Shizi Safaris was the right choice. I booked a 7 day Lemosho Route tour. Everything was done in a professional manner with a personal touch. The crew of 5 porters, a cook and a guide made the tour unforgettable and without the support from all of them I’d probably not have succeeded in reaching the summit. They all worked very hard to give me the best service possible. I can mention Georgie who was taking care of my need while in the camps, He brought coffee and popcorn 🍿 upon arrival to the camps. He also brought hot water twice daily as well as serving me three meals per day. Thanks Georgie. And my guide Said helped me all the way to the top and down. He monitored my health at all times, decided on breaks and also helped me mentally by encouraging me during the ascent. Without him I probably wouldn’t have reach the top. Thanks Said. I felt in good hands at all times as they all were very professional, knowledgeable and always had safety as first priority.

Had a wonderful time with Shizi Safaris on my trek to the roof of Africa and would highly recommend to anyone visiting Tanzania!! My guide Regan taught me Swahili the whole trip up and down the mountain and never got tired of me asking for new words. He was also a great photographer whenever I needed him to be. :P I also appreciated the flexibility when my flight was delayed and the arranged pickup was still there when I arrived at JRO as well as not insisting I stay at Horombo to acclimatize when I felt good enough on day 3 to continue going and let me finish the whole trip in just 5 days instead of 7. The guys also helped arrange a taxi for my transport to Arusha when we got back to Moshi which was really great! Would definitely recommend Shizi Safaris for a memorable trip up Kilimanjaro!!!

We are a group of 4 people ( from Munich and Frankfurt) From 13-20.January we did the Lemosho route. From the first day, there was a strong relationship to our guides Paschal and Said. They take care by heart all the time, support us and gave us a feeling of confidence. And we had a lot of fun, there was a kind of humor, we loved. We couldn’t rarely have found better one . Especially my little birthday party was spectacular, there was everything, cake with candles, a birthday song.... I also would like to say thanks to all the porters Obed, Bariki ( he joined us to the peak), Motta, Simon, Daudi, Augustino, Mwita, Hillary, Andrew, Abrahaham, Abdul, Salim and Robert. Especially thanks to the cook Rajab ( the food was varied, healthy and very tasty) it was always a surprise, what he offered us. Also thanks to our Georgy, he was the first on the morning, who wakes up us with tea and warm water for “washi washi) His bright smiles was a good start in the day. He also climbed with us to the top. Thanks to all of You Undine

We (two friends) went on a 7-day Kilimanjaro trip with Shizi Safaris. Our guides were Regan and Said. Both were experienced and knew a lot about the mountain and its risks and challenges. We always felt safe. The guides adjusted the walking speed so that we could follow, but still went pole pole. We made it to Uhuru Peak one day earlier, because they said we could make it in 6 instead of 7 days. The food was really good, we had breakfast, lunch and dinner every day. It was delicious and never the same. In general, the camping was far more luxurious than we expected before. We had our own tent, camping chairs and a camping table, hot water for washing, a thick matress and a very large crew (two guides, one cook and eight porters) for the two of us. Thanks to the crew for this unique experience!

We had a very good experience with Shizi Safari. They are very experienced and made us feel safe all the time. The Lemosho route was ideal because we had sufficient time to acclimatize to the height. Only the summit day was a Little hard for me but with the encouragement of the guides we all succeeded to summit the Kilimanjaro. A lot of beautiful landscapes, really unforgettable!!
