We became richer with an unforgettable experience. This is due to our driver: James Meimutie Saitoti, who guided us with great expertise, dedication and empathy in this fabulous environment, thus making our safari tour unforgettable. During the few days we met a precious person in person who we will always fondly remember when we think of our vacation. We hope to see you as soon as possible. We recommend James from the heart.

My wife and I wanted to climb Kili as a celebration of our twenty-fifth wedding anniversary and Africa Joy tours was recommended to us by a friend who climbed Kilimanjaro about a year ago. Clinton and his team met or exceeded all our expectations. Organizing with Clinton by email couldn't have been easier. He was very responsive and answered all our questions promptly. When we arrived at the airport at 2:30 in the morning, Clinton and his driver were there with smiles on their faces ready to take us to our hotel in Moshi. The Park View Hotel was very comfortable and served as our home base before and after the climb. Clinton was very flexible and helped us coordinate a visit to a local children's home that we wanted to visit as well. The Africa joy tours guides and crew were exceptional. Jackson, our lead guide, spoke english very well and were the most personable and friendly hosts on the mountain that we could have ever imagined. We set out to do an 8 day trek on the Lemosho route. After a couple days when our guides were able to assess our fitness level and our tolerance for the elevation, we quickly determined that we could do the route in 6 days. Jackson radioed down to George and were easily able to adjust our plan. We successfully reached the summit just as the sun burst over the horizon and poured its glorious warmth and light over us and our celebration. What a thrill! The safari that Clinton organized for us to Tarangire National Park and the Ngorongoro Crater was a welcome reward after six days on the mountain. The wildlife was incredible... everything that we'd heard about. Thank you so much to Clinton and his team for providing us with a life changing experience as we accomplished one of our life's dreams.

We just got back from a 9-night safari with Africa Joy tours and the only thing we can say is GO NOW! The parks are unprecedently empty due to the pandemic, so if you have ever dreamt of going on a Safari, the time is NOW. We interacted with Clinton and James (who ended up being our guide), each of which was highly professional, very helpful and super knowledgeable. Clinton was our main point of contact prior to the trip. He always responded in a very timely manner and was never pushy about anything. Clinton even showed up to the hotel in Arusha to go over the itinerary with us and James, making sure everything was smooth. From the time we were picked up at Kilimanjaro Airport to the time we were dropped off, we felt safe and knew we were in good hands. James took the time to show us around Arusha upon our arrival, even bringing us to a local spot for dinner. James was our guide for the rest of the trip and we could not offer him higher praise. He spoke excellent English and was eager to provide the best service to make sure we had an incredible experience. He was amazing and very friendly All the accommodations that Africa Joy tours put us up in were amazing and unique in their own way. The hotels in Arusha and Ngorongoro were equivalent to a 5-star hotel in the States. The places we stayed in the Serengeti and outside of Tarangire were more of a glamping style hotel and had the most breathtaking views! The dinners included in the trip were also top notch, it felt like we had a romantic 5-star dinner every night. Tanzania was open to tourism, with no restrictions as their President has declared they are COVID free. Take advantage of the low number of tourists while you can and go now. We saw a ton of animals (even lion cubs!) up very close, since the parks were near empty. We had a once in a lifetime experience and the only complaint we have is we aren’t still there.

Traveled to Tanzania in a group of 5 and did a 10-day Safari to Tarangire, Manyara, lake natron, lake eyasi, Ngorogoro, Arusha national park and serengeti. We were traveling on a tight budget but also were looking for quality in this experience. We did extensive research, exchanged lots of emails with dozens of tours operators looking for the best price before choosing this company. This is not an easy process, there are a lot of tour operators, some of them gave us very high quotes and felt harassed by some companies that emailed us everyday trying to close the deal. Clinton, the company owner, is a very professional and honest. He offered us a great quote for the Safari, similar to other companies, and after reading the online reviews about Africa joy tours, we decided to go with them and it was the best decision that we could ever had made. Great costumer service, he met us at the hotel on the day before to brief and greet us and after the safari to check how the safari went and seeking our feedback. The Safari was a great experience, beyond our expectations. We were really impressed with the quality of everything. You have a mini-fridge, power sockets, pop up roof in the jeep. We didn't get any mechanical issues during the trip. The driver/guide Praygod was excellent, very knowledgeable, careful driver, great animal spotter. We appreciated the fact that he did not take us where all the others jeeps were, avoiding the “traffic”, so we had some encounters where there was just us and the animals. We learned a lot from Praygod and had lots of laughs with him. We really liked the place where we camped,, we were not expecting to sleep as well as we did. We could enjoy the pool after safari and had a mini market where we could buy some wine for dinner. The food was amazing, we really gained some weight on this 10 days. The chef is extraordinary. We never expected to eat such great food on a camping safari. He prepared us breakfast and dinner to eat on the campsite, and we took lunch boxes when we went to the parks. The last day instead of lunch boxes he offered us a late lunch at the campsite before we drive back to Arusha. This was an excellent value for money experience, we fell very grateful and can't thank enough to Clinton, Praygod and the chef, for taking such good care of us. Book with this company you will not be disappointed

Spectacular! Our driver james made everything a complete family memory. 5/5 Clinton from Africa joy tours communicated with whenever we had questions. It was very professional and easy even with multiple changes. The Safari was beyond expected and our expectations were very high. James knew how far he could push our family each day and managed to score some amazing siting late in the day 3 times. We seemed to have booked an excellent time of year with lush greenery and 57 different animals spotted over our 9 days. Safari is not a "vacation" but an adventure experience and I was glad our youngest of 3 was 18. We had 6 people in the Land Cruiser and that was a full vehicle. We choose to mid - luxury level accomedations and were blown away by the places we stayed. Lovely to have a great room and food at the end of 8-10 hours on the road. I would highly recommend Clinton and especially James. In fact I'm sure I will be back. Helein - Age 58 Traveled with my wife, my 2 sons 25,22 and daughter 18 and a family friend 25 years old. Excellent ages.
