An unforgettable safari!

We are settling back in to our normal routine and still can't believe all the things we did and saw on our trip! We had an absolutely incredible time, I had been on safari in Botswana previously but this was by far the most exciting safari ever! Bony was a fabulous guide, a very safe driver, had a warm demeanor and was so friendly, he was also especially skilled at spotting wildlife. He saw things with his bare eyes that we couldn't even see in our binoculars! It was really great to have one guide for the entire trip rather than just a driver and new guides in each location. The tented camps were an incredible experience, the food was so good, and the staff were so kind and welcoming. We would 100% recommend Kilidove to anyone looking for a safari company in Tanzania!

We went on a 5-days safari through Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro with Kilidove and it has been the best experience of our lives. Everything was excellent: the vehicle, the accomodations, the itinerary, but most of all the guide. Jackson is a great guy, extremely prepared on local fauna and on the many areas we visisted. Thanks to his skills and incredible eyes, we managed to spot all of the big 5!
Definitely recommended.

Northern Circuit - 10 day safari

We had a great safari with Kilidove in July/August 2022. During a total of 10 days, our guide Joseph was a fantastic host and took great care of us. The planning was easy, we told Kilidove where we wanted to go, what our approximate budget was, how many of us, and what level accommodation. They then reached out with a sample itinerary which we adjusted until we were all happy. Everything was arranged for us, making it really relaxing for us. Joseph even made sure to have fresh coffee for our game drives each day. We started from Ngorongoro Crater, to Tarangire, to Lake Natron, to North and then Central Serengeti, back to Ngorongoro Crater. It was a lot of driving and time spent in the car but we saw so many exciting and great species, including a river crossing over the Mara River, it was worth it.
The car was in fantastic shape, with power outlets and drinking water throughout the whole trip. Kilidove also arranged our airport transfer.
Highly recommend!

What an amazing experience!! We dit it to the top of Kilimandjaro. Thanks to the kindess, professionnalism and commitment of Kelvin and his team we succeed and spent the best time together! I absolutely recommand!
More than a travel, it will stay in my mind as a magic human experience.

Safari and Zanzibar trip of a lifetime

Absolutely amazing time! We did a safari in Tarangire, the Serengeti and Ngorongoro crater. Our guide was very knowledgeable and helpful and knew exactly where to go to see all the animals. Our guide was always able to spot animals from a distance, even if they were camouflaged; we saw every animal except 1. The accommodations arranged for us were also exceptional, definitely something we will never forget.

We also spent some time in Zanzibar which was also amazing and such a beautiful island, with so much to offer. The accommodations arranged were very good. The only complaint (for lack of better words) was that we had wished a list of excursions provided earlier so we could plan and take advantage as most of them had a early morning depart time.

Kilidove did an exceptional job putting together this trip. We didn’t have to think about anything they had it all taken care of. Our guides and hosts (Lisa) were readily available and responded promptly if we had questions.

I travel quite a bit and this was by far the best and most memorable trip I’ve been on.

Full Serengeti experience

My sister and I had an overwhelmingly memorable experience at Tanzania and Kilidove made it happen. It was very nice of Lisa to check on us on a regular basis to make sure things are in order. Rigo was a great guide with a sharp eye on wild life. He is full of positive energy and always wants to make sure we see what we wanted - and we did (coupled with luck)! We saw the big 5 in less than 24 hours. Saw a lot of animals up close. I highly recommend To book at Kilidove for you private tours and go ask for Rigo.

Having done safari in Kenya this was by far the best experience I could have hoped for.

5 Day Safari Ngorongoro/Serengeti/Tarangire

Pro:
-knowledgeable and experienced guide was spotting things at distance that I needed telephoto lens or binoculars to see.
-clean and well maintained vehicle.
-professional. Guide had paperwork ready so no time was wasted trying to find places to print.
-bespoke feel. Full day safaris. If things were found worth spending time with we would spend time and guide was great for helping set up camera shots. (Other safaris have felt like a production see something for a minute and then move on) we found lion and cubs feeding and spent a portion of the day observing.

Con:
-limited connectivity to outside world. There were days where cell/internet/wifi was limited to maybe 10 minutes. (While some wouldn’t consider this a con it’s something to plan ahead for, if needed)
-it had to end.

Tl;dr
Best safari I’ve been on and will go again.

Lisa the operations Manager was very warm, patient and friendly right from the onset till the end of my safari. My tour guide Richard was equally patient and drove professionally. He is very kind to Kids
