Myself and 5 other friends joined Greg Adventures for a climb of Kilimanjaro via the Lemosho Route in Feb/March 2023. If you are looking for a guided experience, Greg Adventures is the way to go and I cannot recommend them enough. Everything was not only perfect but they went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable, happy, and in the right physical and mental state to make the journey. Abdi, Saladeen, and Jackson were our guides and they were the very best.
Greg Adventures will take care of everything - from airport pickup to overnight accommodations pre and post hike to ensuring your hiking experience is exactly as you want it to be. The food, service, and quality of the entire experience is unmatched.

Incredible Experience! Thank you for the memories Greg Adventures
Before I start my review I just want to say that if you were thinking of going to Tanzania, now is THE best possible time to go. There aren’t the usual crowds on Kilimanjaro at the moment- making it even more magical - and it almost feels like you have the safari parks to yourself. It’s also very easy to travel to Tanzania right now, even with the current covid measures in place, because you no longer need a PCR test or to quarantine on arrival in Tanzania.
Ok, on with the review! Greg Adventures were excellent. Greg is a super cool guy and a pleasure to deal with. He helped us plan an incredible bespoke 2 week itinerary which included climbing Kilimanjaro (we made it!), Ol Doinyo Lengai and unforgettable safaris in Ngorongoro and Tarangire.
One of the things we loved about about Greg Adventures was how customisable it was. We were able to list the things we wanted to do and Greg patiently worked with us (and our budget) to make all of it happen. When we wanted to add another park visit last minute he was able to accommodate us which was fantastic.
It really was one of the trips of a lifetime and Greg and his team (big shout out to our brilliant guides Mwinyi and David) were friendly, professional and knowledgeable. We also had excellent food throughout.
Thank you Greg Adventures and we hope to come back one day to climb Mount Meru and visit the Serengeti with you.
PS. The Lemosho route for Kili was stunning and we'd highly recommend it.

We stayed two nights at Villa Poa (that‘s Greg’s Hostel) and went to the Kikuletwa Hot springs with Ajubo (one of his guides).
The experience was amazing. Communication and organisation were on point, Ajubo was very friendly and spoke good english.
Now we‘re staying in Zanzibar and Greg also offers a lot there so we asked him if he could arrange a guided tour through Stone town. Even though it was very spontaneous (we asked the night before going), again everything went as planned and the guide (Mohammed) was very joyful and took us on an almost 4 hour tour for a very reasonable price.
Can recommend Greg‘s adventures and his Hostel in Arusha!

Greg went above and beyond to make our experience as personal as possible. He advised us on how many days we should spend in each park and we are so glad we took his advice as our experience in Tarangire, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro was incredible. Our guide was knowledgeable and so kind and the chef cooked us up something different and delicious every night. Not to mention we asked for an authentic Hadzabe tribe experience and Greg pulled out all the stops to make it happen. The whole experience felt like a once in a lifetime moment. All in all we are delighted with the professionalism and welcoming atmosphere Greg offers. If you want to do a safari right I can’t recommend Greg adventures enough.

Out of many adventures I've had I have to admit that Safari with Greg Adventures was one of the most professional and most memorable experiences I've ever done. We choose private 5 days safari + 2 days with Hadzabi tribe. During safari we had two different guides, more than 18 years of experience each. They were literally amazing!!! Knowledgeable, funny but also not to pushy to leave us enough of private space. Our cook prepared an amazing food. Guides knew really well where and when to go to avoid big crowds and see all of the amazing things in the same time. We saw whole big 5, leopards and lions fighting with hyaena for a pray and of course famous great migration.
At the end we had another amazing adventure which was living two days with Hadzabi tribe. It was not only unbelievably amazing and authentic experience but also best price to compare to many other agencies I checked.
Last but not least Greg is just a great guy who can always help you with a good advice.
Highly recommended to everyone!

We booked a 3D/2N Safari to Serengeti NP and Ngorongoro Crater with Greg Adventures. Our jeep was comfortable and equipped with some plugs which was perfect as you could charge your phone and camera to be able to capture the best shots even on the last day.
Tents, mattresses and sleeping bags were provided and in good conditions.
Our guide was very knowledgeable and always gave us information on our sightings. The chef did an amazing job. The food was always tasty and enough to feed all 6 of us. We were picked up and dropped of at our accommodation, although we were staying a bit outside of the center of Arusha.
All in all, we had 3 amazing days and saw thousands of different animals and luckily also the Big 5. Therefore, we would totally recommend Greg Adventures to everyone who is looking for a reasonable priced Safari.

Greg adventures allowed me to customise my safari experience across a long expedition, enabling me to go on smaller tours such as lake Duluti and the hot springs along the way through Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Taringe. I would definitely recommend Ngorongoro, where the animals stay year round, unlike in other national parks. Despite animal migration having started when attending Serengeti, Supa has a good eye for animal tracking and we were still able to see the ‘big 5’. There was no messing around with food and accommodation, as I have found using different companies and they luckily have chargers in the cars, so there was no need to hold back on going snap-happy!

I travelled to Moshi with Greg Adventures to visit the natural hot springs and then the Materuni Waterfalls by Mount Kilimanjaro. Everything was very well organised and Greg and his team were extremely friendly. They picked us up from our hostel promptly on the Saturday and took us straight to the hot springs. Travelling on the rough dirt tracks it is such a shock when you arrive and enter this beautifully hidden paradise. With crystal clear water and overhanging trees, it's a great spot to enjoy with friends and family. Afterwards, Greg drove us to Moshi where we went out for dinner. We had the option to eat in a more international restaurant or somewhere more local and of course we chose the local! It was excellent. The next day we went for breakfast before travelling to the waterfalls. Greg and his team were extremely knowledgeable about the area and were able to answer all of our questions. Since it had been raining the night before, Greg knew to drop us off further up the mountain before we started our walk to the Waterfalls. This took about 40 mins each way but was well worth it! The views are stunning. On our way back we stopped to have lunch with a local tribe who taught us all about coffee and how to make it from scratch! An incredible opportunity and will never forget it. Would definitely recommend to a friend! Can't wait to be back for more adventures with Greg and the team!

I went on a 4 Day Camping Group Safari to the Tarangire National Park, Serengeti National Park and the Ngorogoro National Park. We went together with a group of 6 people + our tour guide (Freddy) and a cook (Paul).
It was an absolutely amazing experience. Freddy is a great safari guide, we saw all of the Big 5 and many animals up close and he is a very good driver! He also has a lot of knowledge on the Parks and the Animals which was really interesting. Not only is he an amazing guide, but he is also great company to have in your safari car!
Overall I can highly recommend a safari with Greg Adventures, and especially a tour with Freddy as your guide and Paul as your cook!
Asante,
Anna

Kilimanjaro tour & Ngorogoro national park:
We booked 2 different tours with Greg Adventures. Because of our own planning we booked them last minute but this was not a problem at all! Greg arranged everything for us and made sure everything was organized.
We did a day trip to the Ngorogoro crater and got picked up very early in the morning. Frank (the guide) was very open and friendly. He knew a lot about the tour and place, so he explained and showed us a lot. The company made a very good lunch and there were enough drinks at the car. Frank is a good driver and made sure everyone got home safe.
For the Kilimanjaro we booked the Machame route. 6 days and 5 nights. The day before we left we met our guide. He came to the hostel to check our gear and stuff. The gear that we missed could we borrow. We got all the stuff the next day and the guide made sure we packed everything. It was time to start the hike! The whole team (2 guides, 1 chef and assistent and the porters) were very friendly and lovely! The whole tour they made sure we felt good and safe. The guides are very professional and our oxygen and blood pressure got checked twice a day. The guides are very motivating and made sure that we enjoyed the whole hiking experience. During the days we had a very very good chef. Everyday we ate something different and there was a lot of food. We did not have to worry about being hungry. Once we reached the top the team was so supportive and proud! It was a very good experience and I would definitely recommend Greg Adventures. The whole team is very professional and they know what they are doing.
Thank you very much! :)

Sure, the safari vehicle has electrical socket to recharge phones and cameras. It was a surprise also for us. We took thousands of photos and it saved us during the camping safari!
