In May, we went on an unforgettable safari adventure in Tanzania with me, my boyfriend and six of our friends, expertly organized by The Wanderer Tanzania. Despite it being the rainy season, our experience exceeded all expectations. We were amazed by the abundance of wildlife we encountered (sometimes next to the car!!!), seeing all of the animals and their baby’s and witnessing the breathtaking Great Migration up close. An experience that we will never forget 😍
Our guides, Victor, Juma, and Mohammad, were exceptional. Their extensive knowledge and captivating stories brought the landscape to life, making every moment memorable. We enjoyed delicious bush lunches with them, they drove us everywhere safely and we also had a lot of fun!!
At night we stayed in stunning camps with all of the wildlife around us (we could even hear the lions growling far away!)
Following our safari, we spent an additional week in Zanzibar, perfectly coordinated by Wanderer Tanzania. The transition was seamless, and our time in Zanzibar was a good way to relax and enjoy the end of our 16 days trip!
I highly recommend The Wanderer Tanzania to anyone seeking an unforgettable holiday. From Koen who made our itinerary perfect matching with all our wishes, to victor and the other guides who made sure we were happy and comfortable all of the time! Because of The Wanderer Tanzania we have a beautiful memory for a lifetime! We definitely book with them again in the following years 😄

We recently returned from an unforgettable safari adventure with The Wanderer Tanzania. It was our first time on safari and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Accompanied by a group of close friends, we traveled to Tanzania and Zanzibar, exploring the best of what these regions had to offer.
We kicked off our journey with an immersive cultural experience with the Maasai tribe at the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro. We then went on to visit several national parks, where we were able to spot the famous "big 5" within just a few hours. Witnessing the great migration at the Mara river was a truly awe-inspiring sight that we will never forget.
The highlight of our trip, however, was the hot air balloon ride over the Serengeti. The views from above were simply breathtaking and the stillness and tranquility was unlike anything we've ever experienced. It's a moment that will be etched in our memories forever.
Our driver/guide was knowledgeable and passionate about the wildlife and landscapes we encountered along the way, making our safari adventure even more enjoyable. We felt truly lucky to have been able to experience this adventure with such great company.
Thank you, Wanderer, for an unforgettable journey that exceeded all of our expectations. We cannot recommend this experience enough to anyone looking to explore the beauty of Tanzania and Zanzibar.

I had an amazing adventure with The Wanderer Tanzania! The wildlife experience was truly unforgettable, and the staff was extremely professional and attentive to our needs. The value for money was great, and the accommodations and food were exceptional. Our visit to a local tribe was a unique and memorable experience. The entire team were accommodating and made sure everyone had a great time. Their attention to detail was impressive and added to the overall quality of the trip. As someone who has traveled to multiple countries, I can honestly say that The Wanderer provided excellent customer service. Thank you Wanderer , for an unforgettable adventure!

Last month I went on a vacation to Tanzania and zanzibar together with my girlfriend and a group of friends.
this holiday was arranged by the wanderer tanzania. the first 6 days we went on a safari through the national parks. There we were able to fully admire the beautiful nature of Tanzania. because we traveled in the early season, everything was beautifully green and all the animals had babies. some animals came so close to the car. the guide who accompanied our holiday told the most beautiful stories about the area and the animals we saw. At night we slept in tent camps. the tents were clean, the beds were comfortable and the food was good. Every morning we left early because that is when the animals are most active. In the afternoon our guide provided lunch on the savannah. I personally thought the most beautiful was the Ngorongoro crater. that is really something you should not miss on a safari in Tanzania. len met je camera
Even though you spend a whole day in a car, a week of safari is still quite tiring. That's why it was wonderful to relax for another week on Zanzibar. The accommodations were located neer the beach. The water of the sea is so clear with a lot of see life. we made a number of boat trips around the island and went snorkeling. the safari blue was very nice and the see food bbq they served for lunch was delicious.
overall a wonderful holiday I will never forget.

The 3-day safari in Serengeti was fantastic! It exceeded our expectations. Everything was superb and expertly managed by the Wanderer team. our driver, Dave, was incredibly attentive, answering all our questions, taking photos upon request, and guiding us to the prime spots for observing wildlife. We were fortunate enough to see all the animals on our wish list. lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, hippos, and many more. The food was top-notch, some with unlimited beverages included. The accommodation in Serengeti was truly remarkable! We appreciated that there were no additional fees; everything was bundled into the safari package, making it an exceptional value!

We went with The Wanderer Tanzania end of August for a 14 day Safari+Zanzibar trip. This was one of the best holidays for me, the trip was wonderful, everything was perfect and very well organized.
Koen has put together a very nice and detailed Safari plan according to our needs and budget.
All accommodations were very nice with delicious meals. The highlight was our guide Juma who was very knowledgeable, funny, and worked hard to find all the animals we wanted to see.
The hotel in Matemwe/ Zanzibar was excellent, on a very quite but nice beach.
They also surprised out with some small gifts.
I truly recommend The Wanderer Tanzania.
Koen has put together a very nice and detailed Safari plan according to our needs and budget.

Our 10-day trip to Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Lake Manyara, and Zanzibar with The Wanderer Tanzania was amazing! Victor, our guide, was exceptional, and the company's planning and organization made everything easy for us. We highly recommend them for anyone looking to explore Tanzania!

We had an amazing trip to Tanzania last week, visiting multiple national parks and seeing many animals. Jackson, our fantastic guide, taught us a lot about the wildlife and culture there. Overall, the trip was very well-organized.

It is quite difficult to choose an Operator for a trip to Tanzania . Wrong choice can lead to ruining your time, effort , money, mood .
I feel we were lucky to have chosen Wanderer Tanzania. We couldn't have come happier and content from our safari.
Koen, from day one, answered all my messages diligently and gave me the confidence that his Company can be trusted. And he kept his promises.
Victor drove us well and safely, and provided us good accommodation and food throughout the tour.
If you are interested in birding, like we were, it's good to make a specific request for a birding guide.
In our case young, enthusiastic and knowledgeable Nobert made our trip more informative and better.
So stop thinking more - this person writing this review is critical and demands exacting standards, and does not praise easily!

Concerned about paying by bank transfer and not credit card.

I had a great experience paying via bank transfer. Receipts were always provided upon confirmation of funds received by The Wanderer Tanzania.
